It's amazing how far we've come with memory... 4gb flash drives used to cost an arm and a leg 
I'm sure this 1tb flash drive will be $12 in the next few years just like the 16gb ones are now.

The only thing keeping spinning drives alive at this point is the cost of flash memory. Once that comes down, then we'll have a real revolution. Since I need the storage space, It's hard drives for me.

Still have my 256Mb and 512 MB flash drives. I think I even have a few that I havent even opened yet including a 64Mb one. I have a 16Gb one but that just seems so easy to lose or misplace so much information.

Yeah 2-4Gb seems to be about the sweetspot - plenty if space and cheap but not ludicrously big.
Anyone else remember PowerPoint pack and go? There was always some problem with the 8th disc that screwed up the whole thing.
