but Favre & other QBs get crucified for it?

vs the PATs all those yrs (other than that one Super Bowl yr)
vs the Saints in the SB
vs the Ravens

He DOESN'T get a pass, where have you been.. Manning gets criticized for this on a regular basis.

What do you think people bring up every time there's a Brady vs Manning debate?

Because hes won a championship now

He didnt get a pass before won a Super Bowl. He was basically the pre 2012 Lebron James of Football before he won

Because he's that dude. There are the type of people that constantly get nit picked and criticized, and the type who seem to always get the benefit of the doubt because they're cool. Peyton is the latter.

4 neck surgeries in one year thats why!

but as already stated, its cuz he already has the ring.

He doesn't really. People clown him for all the losses. The little bro jokes.

He doesn't get it as bad as favre because it's not as bad and he's not a seen as a douche.

There shouldn't have even been OT!

Because of the way he carries himself.  Its all an image thing.

Payton - son of a pro, football genes, playbook student, work horse

Favre-  country boy, wild spirit, "gamer"

One looks more prepared.

he didnt get a pass
the media ripped him hard
and now you are hearing it from all the tebow worshipers saying tebow > #18 :x

he scored the go ahead td before that moore implosion.
is he blamesless for the L? no
was it mostly his fault? no

Peyton is at MOST 25% responsible for that loss...the real question, how do you justify giving that No. 2 Rated Defense a pass for their performance?

Were they really rated number 2 stat wise? Damn they really did play some bad teams.

The last half of their season was the easiest schedule in the league. They were favored by double digits the whole second half pretty much.

With that said, the Ravens took advantage of their mismatches and a huge bonehead play. And I also heard they had Von Miller playing the run the whole game. So their defensive gameplan for the game was **** to begin with.

I agree with AG that Peyton should only get about 25% of the blame (for this one, the other games mentioned he deserves most of the blame on those). Yea he threw the pick and it was def a bad pick. But no1 was doing anything in OT. He was trying to make something happen. And that game should have never been in OT to begin with.

But Peyton gets more than enough heat for not being able to perform in the playoffs. And prolly gets a little more than he would if his brother didnt have 2 rings because of his defense and circus catches. And dont get me wrong. I think Eli is a good QB. But hes not better than Peyton. Hes just had a little more luck go his way IMO.

He gets blame, losing playoff games continuously is a big deal and hurts your legacy...its why people view Brady as the better QB.

Peyton is still one of the all time greats but Brady is distancing himself imo, and I can't stand the guy.

Those interceptions against the Patriots happened during the spygate era. You can't really put all the blame on him.
