I always found this ridiculous for Peyton Manning considering how poorly he played that superbowl run. If rings were solely based on his playoff performances, he would still have 0.

peyton gets a ton of heat and he should....its funny eli's post season QB rating is 7 points higher than reg season and peyton's is 7 points lower than reg season.....to be fair to peyton his team had the lead in the final min but he did have 3 TOs......bad idea to wear the glove

That's the funny thing about it. The '06 Colts run had the script flipped...Colts D carried his *** in the playoffs and Pats choked away the AFC Title game.
I don't know why everyone's acting like he's finished though. It's not like this was his last chance at winning a ring...did people forget that Elway got finally got 'em at age 37 and 38? He has a few more shots at re-writing the books.
