^ah too bad! Not a deal breaker by any means but it's the little things that make something great over just good.
 
will def, be copping these. haven't had a pair since '03. passed on the cpd due to those awful 15s.

sneakernews posted a pic of the knicks or suns or w/e 8s on instagram and all the kids going crazy.. "oh 8s always been my fav" "100% copped!".. made me nervous for a second :smh::smh:

We should be fine it will be like the cavs release shouldnt be limited at all or worth being nervous for. Im sure its the suns just sneakernews writers are dumb. 

All 8s should be easy to cop. I'm not saying take them lightly but if you got 4s last year no hassle then all 8s should be the same (besides aquas if they drop)
 
I wish all of you the best of luck with this release. My paint should be in today. So I'll finish up my 03s and post some pics

Totally forgot about the insoles with the OGs.  Going to have to dig mine out of the closet and check that out.

I never miss out because ive always treated every release like the royals :lol:.. but i always do get nervous before a release..just need these last 2 to call it quits for good(until columbias re-release with icy blue soles)
 
still got my CDP 8s fresh so it's a pass for me

Here's the 8s restoration, completed.
I found them in my closet. Separated, partially crumbled, mixes of paint and dye, chipped original paint, yellowed sole, and faded leather.

Then the leather was painted, the stains were removed, and the midsole was whitened. The red was also painted. But I had forgotten to buy the pewter paint >:

The wearability test, they were worn for 8 hours.

Tonight after I painted them pewter.

Those 8s are lookin great man! I like the paint on the midsole it looks good on the 8s but how long did it take you to restore them ?
 
Okay I've made my mind up I will be getting these bad boys its just I've see some terrible pics of this sneaker yellowed like crap.

It took about two weeks since i had to wait for the second order of paint

Thanks, i was thinking the same thing about the color. Someone  recommended it to me because they had used it elsewhere. 
 
These are great sooo many good memories in them but i think i will pass and wait for the playoff 8's. are those still due out around Memorial day?
