the bear is gonna take the tiger and gorilla.

do you think siberian tigers and grizzlys fight in the wild in russia?

I think a bear would beat a tiger if they randomly came across each other. Not only are they bigger but they're also way stronger.

I wouldn't underestimate a tiger though. If the tiger somehow managed to get a good opening on the bear's neck, it might have a chance. Once a tiger gets a hold of it's prey's neck it doesn't let go easily.

The problem is, the bears neck is full of layers and layers of fat. It'll take a very long time for the tiger to seriously injure a bear.

Bruh, leave the cats outta this; gorilla vs a bear tho.

We're are talking olympic freestyle, no-holds-barred, fight til the death bout with the brute gods of nature. This is a fight more interesting than the tiger.
Well that's too easy the gorilla would win.
bear would win.  the way apes fight is they bite/tear off the genital areas to disable its opponent.  wouldnt be able to do that with a bear.  itd be mauled too quickly.  plus bears are still bigger...

gorilla beats any and everything honestly, if one would actually fight and stay angry (they usually just front) it would crush anything in its grip, gorillas can unscrew the lugnuts on your car's wheels with ease fam

bears have claws and sharp teeth, are bigger than gorillas, and just as strong...

sure they don't have opposable teeth, but gorillas aren't really carnivores. they're not about that fight to the death life.  i feel like you don't realize how imposing and terrifying a grizzly bear is.

The problem is you guys are analyzing this from the wrong perspective. There are many other factors at play that would sway the outcome of this battle. Many of you are choosing the bear because of the assumption that the bear and tiger are doing head to head combat in a ring where brute strength. As an advocate of cats everywhere, I'll prove to you, my brethren, why the Bengal tiger will win this epic match up.

The tiger is a cunning hunter. There's no way an animal with the intellect of a tiger will engage a bear in head to head combat. Rather, the tiger will stalk the unaware bear. The tiger will study its victim and watch for any weaknesses in his defense. The tiger can stalk the bear for hours just watching and studying while the pathetic bear is unaware of his fate, When the bear is occupied fishing in a river or doing whatever bears do, the tiger will strike from the bushes and ambush the bear. Before the bear could react, the tiger is already clenched to the throat of the bear. When the bear gathers his senses, the tiger will disengage and retreat to a safe distance. The bear has no hope of catching the tiger. The tiger will then go back to stalking and watching. When the bear lets his guard down, the tiger will strike again and finish off his victim.

Bears are brute strength. Tigers are strength, speed and intelligence combined. Tigers > bears :pimp:

What makes you think a Tiger can rush for the throat that easy? Average height is 8ft tall and they weigh 1000lb-1500lbs. No way a bengal rushing to the jugular that easy, on top of that bears are good in their hind legs. Bears are hunters too, and their not as stupid oblivious as you think they are. They have a large nose cavity, and a great sense of smell, complimenting their dominating power.

Tigers have to put in work to get the kill of a black bear, and black bears are nowhere close to the viciousness of a Grizzly which are commonly two times their sizes.

Tigers are strength, speed, & intelligent
Grizzly are stronger, as fast, as intelligent, most importantly stronger.

i feel know you dont know what youre talking about, a gorilla is indeed stronger than a bear, i already inferred that gorillas wouldnt fight to the death, but since we are talking about hypothetical situations, i choose the gorilla because in this hypothetical situation the size of the bear is not enough to scare the gorilla off and if a gorilla grabs anything on a bear, it has the power to crush/snap/rip whatever its holding on to clean off

LMAO, can't be serious, you vastly underestimate a bears senses, a bear would hear the tiger and smell a weird/foreign animal in its area, the bear would definitely see the tiger before it pounced

your love for big cats clouds your judgement of other strong predators

I accept your argument about the bear's intelligence and I apologize for suggesting that bears are not smart. However, I will stand by my point that tiger's are more efficient and cunning hunters.

Grizzlies are known to hunt large prey every once in a while but the majority of a grizzly's diet consists of plants and small rodents. In the rare occasions that a bear does strike large prey, it does so in a clumsy manner because hunting large prey is not necessary to the bear's survival. In other words, the bear hunts because it can not because it needs to.

See Exhibit A

Now tigers, on the other hand, are designed to hunt. A tiger's only source of food is meat. Therefore, if the tiger can't catch the meat, it won't eat. This is why tigers are such excellent hunters. They're sleek and agile. They can move so quietly that their victim's won't realize that they are there until they are in the tiger's stomach.

See Exhibit B

With that said, a tiger standing on it's hind legs is an average of 10 feet tall! It wouldn't be a problem for the tiger to rake the bear's eyes if he caught him by surprise and then give him a couple vicious strikes to the throat.

To address your point about the bear's nose. Yes, the bear has a dangerously powerful nose. It would probably smell the tiger from miles away. But the tiger is patient. It'll watch the bear for hours. The bear will be lured into a false confidence because of his dominant strength and think the tiger doesn't want a piece of him. That's when the tiger will prove him wrong!

The only flaw in the tiger's game is its endurance. I know a bear can run for miles without breaking a sweat and big cats are known for having the endurance of Eddy Curry. However, if the tiger inflicts strategic wounds to the eyes and throat of the bear, the tiger will be able to retreat with no problem to continue its onslaught from another angle.

the debates are real

Also, look at this punk bear that thought he was doing it :smh: Probably went back to his cousin the grizzly like "man I punked some Bengal today :pimp:" knowing damn well he took off running when it was just the bengal's baby mamma taking the kids out for a walk. :smh: :smh:

Tigers 1, Bears 0
