So the things you got deleted you didn't owe?

Just hit them up & pay for delete. I used Lexington Law firm and that was a waste of my damn money. All the creditor said was they annoyed them with automated letters...same with late payments you can handle that yourself.

Honestly all that stuff you can do yourself but for the pesky ones using Al's service or any other might save you that time

Why give me that face, it's not even for me

I was asking and another dude above me asked the same thing. Was just curious

There are services that do that because I know people who have done it. It's more of a crooked service but kinda expensive

I know some collection companies allow you to pay a portion and will call it paid since they only pay pennies on the dollar for the note. Maybe those places are just doing that for you and thats why its expensive.

Just thinking out loud because ive never heard of it

Anyone with Chase know if you can stack the extra cash back in the Ultimate Rewards shop with Ebates?

So apparently with the Walmart card you can get your FICO score for free anytime. A pretty good perk.

I have a FICO of 630 and have been working on my credit since September of last year. How is that score?

what is "cheap" these days?

its 59.99 a month and you don't need it anymore than 3 months...........im sure anyone on NT can afford this service

OR you can write the letters and send them out yourself, I rather pay pros to do it.

Repped. I need this service to get this repossession off of my credit

That score is decent but try to get it above 700.

Keep going, you're on the right path.

If you need any help or confused about anything, don't hesitate to ask.

This is true. My GF had a close family member use her credit to get some cell phones and then they didn't pay the bill. Of course verizon charged for the equipment, past due bills, and early termination fee. $1400....

After speaking to different reps she was able to settle for $500.

Big lesson in all of this... put a credit freeze on your account guys. It may not be family but you'd be surprised if you knew how accessible your soc. security number is.

It costs maybe $5 per credit agency... but take it from someone who's had their identity stolen, it's worth it.

^ this man knows.. i woke up today from a email from my credit card company saying suspicious charges had been placed on my account yesterday. i look it up and sure enough two 25 dollar transactions i did not authorize. calling them now to dispute it. and this is the second time in 2 months smh

Keep building fam you'll hit 700 in no time. When you get the repo off of your report you should see a huge jump in your score. Keep making on time payments and keep utilization down for maximum score.

Strange, I also got this email yesterday from CapOne.

That's not identity theft someone has your card information. Your bank should be closing that card and sending you another one,

at least thats how Navy works.

It's cool  I didn't see you were even the one that replied to me

But yea I have no negative reports on my credit

My mother has some negatives that are paid off and I think some that aren't from my father who passed away

Her credit has gotten better so I might have to do some snooping and pay that $60 for her and improve her credit
