24 Looking to build Credit... What are some good tips on your first Credit Card

^ Absolutely nothing. I pay off everything before my due date, never keep a balance, etc.
word

my CS dropped 30 points this month and i didn't do anything different

never opened/inquire about a new line of credit. didn't ask for a CLI/paid everything

just dropped for nothing but still in the 700's and not trippin off the little things

After some research I finally applied for the CSR and got the pending approval within 7-10 days message. Anyway to speed up the process? Should I go to a branch or call them up?

Call the chase reconsideration line. I just did this for my pops who received this message and was approved instantly after the call, even requested expedited shipping.

FYI guys CSR ships all cards expedited.

Yes and yes. Sometimes you need to call recon to verify personal info.

not buying a car/house anytime soon so not micromanaging my credit any more

put all bills on autopay and pay disocver (only CC i have) in full every month

can't be stressing about this nonsense

Yup thats the link. I was going for the $300 at first but I don't want to pay that $25 monthly fee.
I can hit the deposit amount in 60 days , but I can't hit the 5K/mo required in deposits to not pay $25/mo.

Think imma just collect the easy $50 lol . I can't get with banks and their fees. Credit Unions >*
Only opened this account for a private investment deal I'm doing.

I tried reading the fine print but mightve misread, are you sure pnc needs 5k in deposits / month? Or just overall... i didnt see it say every month

You have to look at the account summary. All 3 accounts have different requirements to have the fee waived. For the Performance Spend account you have to have 5K in direct deposits per month or 5K in the account to have the $25 monthly fee waived.

Guys I just came back from a 3 week vacation, sorry If I am asking same questions that already may have been answered. The last thing I wanted info was the new CSR, but I left before it was launched. I currently have the Sapphire Preferred and already used my 50K points for this trip I just came back from.

For the newly launched Chase Sapphire Reserve (100k Miles)

1) Is the $450 annual fee waived for the 1st year?

2) If you already have a Chase Sapphire Preferred, are you still eligible for the 100K Bonus?

1) It is NOT waived for the 1st year

2) You will not get the 100k Bonus if you upgrade to the CSR from the CS but do if you apply seperately (someone please confirm this for me)
