first episode had some real suspensful moments , i like that they incorporated

:\ It feels like a very soft American Horror Story. Like a dark Desperate Housewives spinoff or something.
I'll keep watching for Vera, though. And the first ep wasn't bad.

Yep. I have a feeling it's going to be classic. Let's hope that it doesn't get cancelled too soon or wind up with new writers like The Walking Dead.

I agree, but I think it has a long way to go before it jumps the shark. There's a lot going on in the background that could lead to some great storylines and the characters are prime for some deep development.

Finally watched the first 2 episodes and so far this show is
Its much different than I thought it would be but that's a good thing. I'm a huge fan of the original Psycho. All the prequels, sequels, remakes, etc are hot garbage compared to the OG :x . I was excited that a show was made though because it could provide a different experience without messing with the greatness of the OG movie.
Anyway, the best part of the show imo is the kid playing Norman. He gives me the same creeps as the OG Norman from the first Psycho. I also like what they're doing with the mother. The movies make her too easy to hate but this mother is someone you find yourself rooting for (for the most part at least). Plus, I like the way they're emphasizing that Norman was a pretty normal guy so its easy to see how even after he "breaks", he still maintains that "normal" side of his personality.
Between this and The Americans, we have some pretty good shows to look forward to the next few years

I'm getting a incest kind of vibe from Norman and Norma. I haven't seen Psycho and I didn't expect there was any incest theme in the movie, but it seems there is from watching the first 2 episodes of the show.
