Just got these from the bay. Should have known better.

Would y'all complain?

:smh:

UPDATE 01/19

USPS label says he paid $10.45

He complained that he had to buy a roll of tape for $3. Like he had to use the whole roll on just my box.

I complained. He wouldn't offer a partial refund.

I have been selling on ebay for more than a decade. I always wrap in shipping paper. I double box if someone requests it for a very expensive pair.

He has 7 feedback, I have 175. I want to see where eBay goes on this.

My argument is this...the picture on the listing had the shoes on top of a perfect, brand new box. Now, because of his shipping...I didn't get that box.

For all of you wondering about the box here is my argument.

If these were going to be some beaters, then I would have gone to footlocker and copped regular KD's for $115. Not $160. You rock a hot colorway a few times and you store them or sell them in a few years.

Let me ask you...Would you buy a pair of shoes that didn't have a box?

You should have known better because it came from the Bay?

Happened to me before. Remove what tape/labels you can without ruining the box and just forget about it. I guess if the seller does not specifically say that they will double box, they aren't obligated to do so. At least the box was not crushed, still looks to hold its shape pretty well.

I'd try to get some money back... but honestly who really cares.

I doubt the shoes are damaged what so ever and the box is just a regular Nike box.

/thread

If I was going to wear these than yea, I wouldn't care.

However these are for my collection. I have at least one of every Jordan, Lebron, Kobe and KD in their sig lineup. I pick one color and put it in the collection.

I rock some, sell some when I get retro/re-release. This just irks me since I was charged $17. eBay charges off the full amount nowadays anyway. So what is the point of even doing the old inflated shipping scam if you gonna ship like this?

Did you specifically note that you wanted the box to be in good condition and without tape all over it?

I got my HOH Foams shipped to me like that 2 years ago :smh:

edit: I got hooked up for retail so I kinda didn't care

I see these kinds of pics all over IG all the time. If someone sent me some **** like this I would ask for a full refund based on principal alone.

They have the damn box at whichever shipping company you use. People can't be that hard up for the 3 or $4 that they charge. :smh:

Are the shoes damaged? If not, then you should be fine. Although this was a lazy move by the seller. He got cheap and didn't put them in a box.

The problem is he was charged $17 and that got.

if shipping was free this would be slightly less douche'y.

but still

wheres the video of someone using the USPS box? :nerd:

they creased ceratin parts of the box to make it fit an average box or something.

if it dont say double boxed then thats what you SHOULD get!!!...

pay attention next time

NO. They could have at least wrapped the box in kraft paper or a bag...something :smh:

They're putting their own merchandise at risk....delivery confirmation with a bright orange box is just asking to get stolen if it even makes it to the buyers door.

Last year I saw someone post a pic of a DMP 6/11 pack being shipped the same way :x
