I figured we get things started. I am about to start working on my Draft Class file for 2K12 (Hyperballer will be converting it to 2K13). But I am in the process of doing my research on these prospects that I am not familiar with.

But to start things off I will drop off the current Mock Draft from DX.

If Carter Williams wasn't pushing 22, I'd say he needs to stay (he does anyway) but that will play a major role into his decision. Still has a lot of holes in his game such as a nonexistent jumpshot.

Whatever team that needs a PG and passes on Trey Burke will be making a huge mistake.

Draft is gonna be weak
None on these prospects impress me much either. Bennett is intriguing but he's undersized and kind of chubby. The Thunder have the Raptors pick which as of now is projected to be #6, I'd rather Toronto just start losing again and get it top 4, so it postpones to 2014 then we're talking about Liggins, Gorden, Randle, and some of those guys

I love Trey, but I want to see more now after he physically got his *** whooped vs OSU.

Like most, I Don't like this draft. Lot of kids that are hanging on by past reputation and only a very small group that have made splashes this season.

He's real. Will be the Lillard of this class.

I didn't believe the hype but watching him this season he's surprised me.

Bennett is going to ball as well, especially if he gets in the weight room

I don't really see anybody with superstar potential though.

Since the 2000 draft has their been such an open race for the #1 pick...even when it was like 2004 it was either Dwight or Emeka for #1 pick.

I guess the Barnagni year was pretty open but still #1 pick most likely will be a need pick not a best player available pick like usual.

In regards to Burke, I think he is a starting PG but I Lillard is bigger and way more physical than him, think its well wishing to hold him to those expecations especially from the jump.

i have to preface my comments by saying i dont watch college basketball..

having said that, i either want a big man who can replace perkins and do all the dirty work do low (play good defense, grab rebounds.. and actually have couple put backs).. no clue who fits that description in this draft

OR, someone like mclemore.. essentially a pure shooter who can help with spacing with durant and westbrook on the floor at the SG spot

- even with lamb i want someone for that role.. watching lamb a little in the D-league highlights i do see.. i think he would be the perfect 6th man, do everything role.. and mclemore can come in and be the starter and as i mentioned above help with spacing

1. The draft is weak at the top, but I like the depth, no game changing superstar, but good prospects, from top to bottom.

2. 100% agree on Trey Burke, people are making a mistake taking him over any point guard.

3. MCW has no business staying in school.

What really makes for a strong draft these days anyway. *shrugs*

Anyway is there really an argument for Muhammad over Noel or Zeller besides roster needs? I have a feeling that Zeller atleast will be a force in the league from the get-go.

Muhammmad and Noel both have a higher ceiling than Zeller. So for a team that is rebuilding taking either of the two is a smarter pick imo. This is the case with most teams in the lottery.

Cody's been playing better lately...Could be very good if he goes to the right team imo.

I'd like to see him in Cleveland...Him running the break with Tyler, Kyrie & Bron in 2014 :pimp:

Mcadoo doesn't need to go lottery cause he'll **** a team over..he needs to go to a veteran team so he can develop

I don't follow college ball much, but I peeped a North Carolina game and that mcadoo kid is nice. I can see him going top 3.

*shrugs* I don't know. Zeller and Noel are skilled big men where there is a shortage at the position, so as a rebuilding team I would turn to a big man. Can't wrap my head around a swingman being the 1st pick in this toss up of a draft considering that the guys following right behind him are 7 footers or almost 7 footers.

Noel and "skilled" in the same sentence huh? New to me. :nerd:

he won't

LOL @ Noel being skilled. Zeller does not have a higher ceiling than Bazz, there's no way I draft Zeller over him. His stock is coming back to Earth now.

I'm just a silly casual as far as college goes. Here and there I would watch Indiana and see Zeller dropping 20 a night and so this is my basis. Can I be educated a little
