Official 2013 NBA Draft Thread

Osh, you watched Dennis Schroeder at all?

I don't know much, but I think I love him.

watched the kid play in the world vs USA...he was giving out that work.

dude is nice, fast, can get to the rack easy and can dish it. didnt see much of a Jumper, but hes legit.

on another note cant see LJ Lesile going 1st round, hes too metally weak.

Yo, does anybody else get a major Ron Artest sociopath vibe from Oladipo?

Watch the DX interview.
abovelegit does great work for BulletsForever. :smokin
Love that dude on here. What's his name?

I actually really like CJ...that mentally weak **** is crap, he might not have the alpha dog mentality but there is def a place for him in this league, he can make plays all over the court.

That's why I **** w/ Vic.

He's a legit psychopath but not the snap and beat up his girlfriend type. Son is intimidating as hell on the court.

^ i love dude.. would love him on the thunder..

hell, i would love for us to trade 12 and reggie jackson to move up for oladipo to replace thabo after his contract is up.. then lamb becomes our 6th man

but love the intensity.. especially that story about him wearing out his gym access card because he would just pop into the gym all the time

I watched him at the hoop summit.

Dominated the US gaurds, shifty, excellent on the pick and roll, carved up the us guards, very fast, quick first step but not a great leaper, his jumper is a bit slow but has good mechanics, solid enough to make you pay if you go under the screen.

I like him a lot. IMO he's the second best PG prospect.

best case Rondo 2.0.

Caldwell-Pope is perhaps the leading possibility for that 9th overall pick. The other two guys are candidates for the Wolves' second first-round pick, 26th overall.

The T'Wolves do need a shooter in the worst way.

A few other draft tidbits relating to the T'Wolves in the link.

hell no lmao. Oladipo was just joking around and talking about how he loves to ball. that's not even on the same galaxy of Ron's craziness.

The Cavaliers are willing to trade the #1 overall pick with Varejao and others in hopes to land a top forward. (Love, Aldridge, Cousins)

If you are getting rid of your franchise big, wtf reason would need varajeo for?

The cavs aren't getting **** for the number 1 pick.

If you can't get noel, your telling me Len isn't good enough, if you can't get maclemore, you can't settle for oladipo, pope?, No Burke well is Shroeder or MCW really that bad of a consolation?

The only player I could see compelling someone to trade up is Anthony Bennett if he was 2 inches taller he would be the number 1 pick locked up, and perosnally I think the Wizards would be FOOLISH to take Otto Porter Jr over him, they have a terrible offense, they lack floor spacing, his versatility, his shooting, it's perfect, he has offensive star potential, could be a Larry Johnson like talent.

If the Magic land Bledsoe they gotta pick up Oladipo.

They might not score a lot of points but will dominate on defense, the break and the boards

McLemore has more potential offensively but he's not ready to step in and give you what Oladipo can
Naw definitely gotta take McLemore just off pure talent when you are picking at number 2..but if the Magic can pull off getting bledsoe and picking at #2 , i'd do it in a heartbeat

Most would gladly trade this year's #1 overall for Love (or even DMC).

I wonder about Bledsoe as a starting PG. The defense is legit, but can he run a NBA offense consistently for 30 minutes a night and hit open perimeter shots?

I only have McLemore ranked slightly over Vic. Wouldn't be surprised if Oladipo ended up being the better pro player. Vic's defense will translate immediately. The jumper is getting better and he's an adequate slasher.

McLemore is the goods offensively, but two things worry me. Passive nature and defensive prowess.

The TWolves would be dumb to trade Love over a season FILLED with injuries. That team was absolutely stacked with talent but literally all their main players missed major time. No team in the league could overcome that. Rubio, Chase, AK47, Love, and Pekovic missed a ton of games. Rebuilding over bad luck one year would be dumb - but I wouldn't put it past Flip Saunders.

No one else likes Trey Burke as the 2nd best prospect in the draft? PGs are always the hardest position for me to project but he has deep range, great handles, very polished, good athlete - he really gives me that GREAT PG vibe when I watch him play. I see him as the 2nd most likely to actually turn into an all-star type player instead of being a good roleplayer type.

If i was the Kings i would take that trade from the Cavs for the 1st pick and Verajao...probly even tell em throw in Zeller or Thompson too :nerd:

if it was the #1 pick and Thompson I'd do it in a heartbeat........ hell that is probably the only trade I'd consider from the Cavs.

Kevin Love has a player option after next season.

I think he and his brother have made it quite clear he's out the door the minute he gets
