Official 2013 NBA Draft Thread

Your opinions are ridiculous, seriously.

Drummond over Lilliard?

If we're talking rookie seasons, then of course Lillard had a better year. But rookie seasons

Lillard did 19 and 6 this year. he is never going to get better then that? and say he stays the same for the next few years, Drummond is making a huge jump to pass that? and yes its more to do with numbers but lillard was a huge part of Portland did this year and will be so going forward.

Lillard is going to be a consistent All Star in this league that'll lead his team to the playoffs. Drummond will be a player that'll always leave you wanting more, only showing his potential in spurts of highlight plays.

Tell me what's laughable about that?

Lilliard actually made his team better - across the board. The difference from when he's on the floor for his team vs being off, leads to a drastic change.

Drummond showed signs of being great though I give him that - needs to do more offensively for his team - his impact on the team is miniscule compared to the impact Lilliard brings to Portland.

tell us more.

Stats actually show the difference when Drummond was on and off the court was huge though.

And please tell me how in the world Lillard is a consistent all-star? I wouldn't say he is better than Mike Conley or Ty Lawson and they aren't all-star's in the West. ****, Curry wasn't an all-star in the West

I like Lillard, real good player, I just don't see the huge ceiling from here for him. He's also an atrocious defender which none of you mentioned, as bad as Drummond is on offense.

Watch the Bobcats are gonna draft Oladipo and have him, Kemba, MKG and Biyombo full court press every single time. That could potentially be a really good squad if they get Parker or Randle to play the 4 next year.

Line up won't avg 87 points a game...no thanks

I'd take Drummond over Lillard with no hesitation.

Me too, as good as Lillard is his ceiling is far lower than Drummond.

 @ at people saying Oladipo is MKG, Vic is already better than him offensively. MKG at this point can only play one side of the ball

Haven't really seen any good point Oladipo comparisons. DWade, Russ, and MKG are all bad ones. If he's Tony Allen with a semi-decent jumpshot and beter slashing ability and athleticism that'll be good.

Tony allen is a worse comparison than d wade and russ, oladipo can get to the rim better than anyone in the draft and has a explosive first step, tony allen is a complete liability on offense

I just dont see oladipo playing pg his first season like d wade and russ

The overrating of Barnes in here is laughable. Barnes averaged 9 ppg on 43% from the field with a very mediocre 52% TS% as the only viable SF option on a team with really good players around him. He was okay. He was better in the playoffs but still not great. Him playing at the 4 and Steph Curry turning superhuman probably did more for his performance than him actually stepping it up.

So let's not call him a future all-star and people made a great mistake passing up on him because he did well against Gary Neal one game

Quoted for emphasis.

Barnes is trash from all angles.

Completely agree. Kid can score. Poor man's Lillard. Cooked Duke in the tourney year ago.

Nobody is saying Black Falcon is the best player in the class. Him and Waiters are pretty close. I personally prefer Barnes. He showed flair and flashes of brilliance offensively in the playoffs against SA.

AD, Lillard, Drummond, Beal. Black Falcon and Waiters after that.

Henson, Lamb and Kidd-Gilchrist are all going to be better than at least a couple of those people. Maybe even currently.

Utah is going to be all over McCollum.
