really? those are the colors they give?

in the words of ice cube ... "man... you a hype!" cuz all those are ugly

oh well, these shoes ended up creasing

im talkin plastic on your feet creasing and eventually ripping, happened to me and many others

i remember many a vouchers being sent to NTers after beating the hell outta these in a few months, then getting that nikecheck haha

i only did it once honestly though. zipper broke off my old gp3 or 4 glove shoes

Guess in order to make it a feasible retro in 2013, you need to feed the beasts first with some over-hyped, over-the-top colorway. And then maybe trickle out a few semi-decent/attractive colorways for those who appreciated the shoe in the first place. Maybe this a good thing and will keep the basic colorways at a lower pricepoint or maybe even on sales racks?
 
Honestly if they wanted to make this release hyped, they could have easily made the iridescent or even the bubble wrap colorway and slapped the limited sticker on it.

I just want some solid colorways.
 
these bring back memories..Copped the purple ones at Roberts on the ave for $30 back in hs

Wow.

I remember buying these for $89 like it was yesterday. And I barely remember anyone rocking these for fashion, this was a basketball shoe made for the casual hooper.

Those colorways are hype-esque; I don't expect much different these days.

The KD is ugly. The Kobe is trying too hard. The Lebron is just tacky.

The snake color is somewhat ok, but I'd prefer solid colors like orange or purple. And while they're at it, how about a retro of the ultraflight?  Now that was a good balling shoe

i know a senior designer for nike, he did the yeezy 2.

i want a job so damn bad.

nike should employ me to be their own personal historian
 
smh. i just want the royal blue one and the all black one and baby blue ones... had those in HS. creased like a mfer but when fresh no other shoe popped like hyperflights :pimp: .
 
What's wrong with just the OG colors?? There's no need to throw these guys' names on them... :smh:
