Converse Aero Jam... Will we ever get RETRO?

LOL just a guess. But what would these be w/o react juice?

they retroed last time without react juice and i believe they were 79 or 89...

mind you i dont think nike owned converse back then though so that estimate of 130 to 160 might be right depending on how nike hypes this shoe.

ALSO it might depend on if they pay larry johnson to endorse or not. last retroes of both og colorways had the 2 on the cover and the grandmama hang tag

im pretty sure react juice is dead kind of like how feet you wear died...

aero jam looks good even without the react juice but the run n slam looked cheap without it.

I'm guessing no juice simply because this is Nike we're talking about...Yall know full well they will cut back where they can...

Anybody got any info on what color-ups are dropping? Aside from that "Peacoat" color-up dropping on the 14th what's good with the multiple colorways dropping on the 26th? Pieces were flossed heavy here in LV back in the day's...Remember rocking my black pair with my LJ UNLV Home Jersey and my Hornets Starter Jacket , clashin like hell

Not looking good but it could just be the colorway...

Also what are the odds that the Hornets Color-ups will have the 2 on the shroud?

Anyway will have to take a look in person first...

this is great news. can't wait to see these come back. probably going for the og colorway

looks like there is no 2, no grandmama keychain, or react juice

no cop

lol gimped the shoe and charging 20 extra.

thanks nike lol

the black grey colorway reminds me of the air raid

also does this dude nightwing not know they have been retroed already before?

come on son

according to the write up in the latest Slam magazine, higher ups at Converse say NO react juice.

well I didn't really expect them to have react juice, so that's not a big letdown for me. The "2" on the top of the shoe would have been nice though. Larry Johnson's nr. 2 hornets jersey was actually one of my first nba jerseys ever and therefore the number 2 means something to me...

A converse rep I spoked to in the summer outside my local cool j's told me that these were a November release as well. Can't wait!

Converse are making it easy for me to not buy these. I get no React juice. And I could even handle no keychain. But not having the "2"? What possible reason is there for that? Adidas whacks 8s all over their Kobe retros, and that's a current player with a contract with another manufacturer! I know he doesn't wear 8 any more, but still, it's not like a numeral can be trademarked anyhow.

Get your act together Converse/Nike!

I was thinking the same thing. Actually they should be able to put any number on the shoe they want. I guess they could but decided not to because they want to sell shoes not only to some old sneakerheads who remember LJ but also to jung kids. And if you don't know about this sneaker's history then the number 2 on the shoe looks kinda pointless. Also the new designers probably didn't like it. I know some art directors and I know how they think and I'm quite sure they all would let the 2 dissapear for the sake of a cleaner design.
