I grew up on rap, I listened to nothing but rap until pretty much senior year of highschool.

Open your world you truly are living closed off.

People sing, people play instruments, people take electronic music and get people to dance.

The irony of not listening to rap is the fact that MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY of your favorite artists and your favorite songs are sampled from "not rap"

Went last year.. If your camping, make sure to drink lots of water. It was around 108 or higher during the weekend I went.

Daft Punk performing at coachella this year though

Im JUICED... the EDM line up is so good this year. Pretty Lights, Eric Prydz, Bassnectar, Tommy Trash, Thomas Gold, Hardwell, TNGHT, Baauer, Bingo Players, etc. 

Hopefully next year has a better hip hop line up tho.

Just scooped up 2 tickets for 520 :lol: :lol: :pimp:

I need a parking/camping pass though, can anyone point me in the direction for one? You wont be able to buy one when you get there I assume? I'm a Coachella virgin so my bad for the rookie questions.

5th year in a row of going.

Headliners aren't as exciting as they were in the past years. But then again I think Swedish House Mafia is trash and was let down by last year's experience (minus dre & snoop).

Anybody complaining about the price of the ticket probably has never been to Coachella. It's an experience that goes just beyond music. It's the one time where all my friends from all over the US and World hang-out together. Even if you do break the amount of artists you see by the price you are paying, you are still getting a steal.

Coachella used to be an Indie Music festival. It's where the artists like Arcade Fire blew the **** up. I don't mind seeing it return to it's roots a little. The more people playing live instruments, the better (for me at least).
 
ill be there weekend 2. im probably going to be bouncing around from pool parties until about 5pm each day.
 
whoever wants to can crash on my floor for 300 bucks a night in palm springs..

ill rent out the extra bedroom out for 700..

jk, got other plans for this summer but these always look crazy. got to go one time
