I don't see them being dealt due to the fact we're more than likely going to make the playoffs and are capable of winning a series.

I think Jennings has been playing like he deserves the money. We can clearly see he has improved and thats pretty much what we were waiting for. I think we will throw the money at him. I'm positive he won't be traded. The only way he leaves is if he simply decides he would rather play somewhere else than Milwaukee. In that case I will want to kick him in the balls.

If its one or the other obviously Monta will be the one to go. But like I said I don't see us dealing him simply due to us making the playoffs. It will depend on how the rest of the season goes and how we finish it as to whether or not we offer him a contract along with Jennings. I think management wouldn't mind signing both and neither would I. As long as the role players do their part the Bucks win games. BJ and Monta are forming great chemistry. If it weren't for Skiles trying to sabotage our year by starting Marquis friggin Daniels and Mbah a moute we could very well be leading the division right now. Monta and BJ have been harassing gaurds all year on D and with the huge improvement in Larry Sanders along with how well Henson has been playing as a rookie it could work by signing both. What I think will happen is we sign Jennings, Monta decides to come back next year with his player option and we go from there.

What I would like to happen is that we somehow snag Rudy Gay while keeping BJ and Monta. Perhaps by throwing Tobias Harris who will be very good, and Mbah Moute. Idk if I'd want to throw Ersan in there instead though. BJ Monta and Gay would be a problem though.

He likes Mil., but be ready to kick him in the balls.

I don't think we will trade him. But the harden trade really makes the Lin signing pointless as they both need the ball to becat their best. So in that sense I could see a trade but I don't see it happening.

Man OKC ain't bout to do ****, I hate our owners. At most, we probably deal Maynor since he has been completely removed from the rotation and refused a D League assignment. Philly called but we turned them down even though they had to have offered us like Kwame and Moultrie which wouldn't be bad at all. I wish you could trade coaches too by the way. Anyways, we need more/better bench scoring, a smallball 4, a more reliable backup pg, a LeBron stopper (he doesn't shut him down per se but I'm liking LR Mbah a Moute here), a scoring big in that order.

Problem is, our owners are O.D cheap so they have to be on expiring deals for equal to or less than what we send out or rookies/old vets overplaying their contract's value, they're O.D conservative and judgemental so the person needs to have minimal tattoos and can't have ever been in any type of trouble in their lifetime, and O.D resistant to change so it has to be a deal that is just tremendously lopsided in our favor.

As far as assets we have, we have the Toronto Raptor's draft pick (top 3 protected, based on current record projected to be #6), Dallas's first rd pick, our own first rd pick, Charlotte's 2nd rd pick, promising rookies Jeremy Lamb and Perry Jones 3, sophomore point guard Reggie Jackson, and Kevin Martin playing extremely efficient ball on a huge almost 13 million dollar expiring.

Oh and for some reason everyone loves Perkins and his 4 pts 5 boards with "intangibles" so he's likely going nowhere.

Only thing somewhat realistic for us is maybe Milsap for Kevin Martin, then we need to make our for the hole it leaves in our bench scoring

If he likes it here and we throw him the money why would he leave? Simply to play on a better team? We're a playoff basketball team, what better options would he have..

Kev is basically saying (IMO) that all 3 of those guys on the court at the same time would be like basketball team suicide.
2 shoot first guards, and an over-paid shoot first forward.

Monta and Jennings is already bad enough, adding Gay would be comedy.

The Bucks would have three perimeter oriented players that need to dominate the ball. Just to be inefficient, one dimensional scorers who would make lots of money. In a small market, with this CBA that's a no no.

I feel like many haven't watched the Bucks this year. The reason I've been saying BJ and Monta have started to gel so good is because they're both distributing the ball very well, especially with each other.. One or the other if not both are getting double digit assists every night. People labeled BJ as a ball dominant player because he's been playing with garbage coming in forcing him to take on the bulk of scoring in order to win. But it's not true he can definitely make plays for others. And if there's one thing I was surprised about with Monta it was his awareness as a facilitator as well. He's no longer in Golden States offense throwing up 100 shots a game. Outside of these 2 guys though every person on the team requires BJ or Monta to get them an open shot. Ersan is a set shooter, Dunleavy is a set shooter, Mbah A Moute doesn't do anything other this play defense. Same with Daniels who shouldn't even see the court. If the Bucks role players don't make their open shots we lose unless BJ and Monta play outstanding. Put Gay on the team and you have a 3rd player that you need to worry about inside and out who doesn't require BJ or Monta to create for him. A scorer who has height, which our backcourt lacks. And it will open up BJ and Montas game who will no longer need to work off only each other to put points on the board. Someone who actually has talent that can make the Bucks a legit contender. Although I have no idea what Gays contract is like, should probably think about that.

People need to know though that these 2 aren't as ball dominant as you think. Like I said before, very first thing I noticed about Monta was his ability to create for others. But GS has him labeled differently. On NT it seems as if Monta is the biggest cancer to have in the entire league because no matter what team he's on it will be an undersized back court with not enough basketballs because Monta is a ball hog.

Sorry for bringing up a team other than your sorry *** Lakers who won't even make the playoffs. I forgot I was I was on NT. I also forgot we're talking about the NBA in which only 3 teams per conference are relevant enough to be discussed. Is 2.5 games out of first in the division not relevant enough for you? Is 5 games out of first in the entire conference not relevant enough?

Is having 2 talented players on contract years who have been in trade discussions all year not relevant enough for you in the NBA Trade Deadline Thread? Shut yo *** up.

LOLLLLLLLLL. im a laker fan but that was nthat.gif

I like Monta but he's crazy thinking he's on dwades level. You can tell he tries hard to win but because of who he is (undersized and a volume shooter), I just can't picture him on a winning team. Bucks are better off without him IMO if they can swing him for a pure shooter or decent big man

This is asinine, why would they give essentially their best or second best player, AND a young talented prospect, for Rudy Gay,

Rudy Gay ******g sucks.

and even if Bryan Colangelo is under some sort of delusion that he doesn't suck, he can't believe that he's worth that ridiculous cost.

QFE

Considering his inefficient production and defense relative to his contract, any GM who trades anything significant for him should be fired on the spot.
