Starter jackets are back...(Pics added)

Mitchell and Ness has already released almost everything that Starter has made  I bought the Giants and Knicks pullover jackets by Mitchell and Ness two years ago for $45 and $55 :smokin

I was coming into the thread to post just this, I remember being geeked at seeing the Anoraks back in store a few years back. I might pick up one if they do my teams, my parents never wanted to get me one back then.

It's no pleasing niketalk.

I just want some windbreakers though and that SF puffy jacket is kinda dope. :pimp:

no, those are just da pricks that think having sneakers no one else has bestows em super human powers and magically makes da yambs

to quiver and moisten under their immediate presence.

da bottom line is these were sorely missed in more then a few circles and i know alot of people are happy to finally see them back.
how can you miss something u never had experienced...most of the kids out getting retros etc...dont buy them cause they miss the cause they were kids or hell werent even born when the came out... the whole trend basically derived from old heads not liking the shiddy quality and horrible styles of new shoes, bringing out there old kicks...plus celebs and the sheeple wanting to follow trends be cool be accepted followed...

Then companies saw it aint even about the shoes its the whole so and so wears them they think there cool so we can just keep selling them same shoes product over and over again and as long as a celeb cosigns it the sheep will follow... we can even make them with less quality (even tho the quality from then to now would be cheaper) and hell charge more and say oh because of the change of times...hell dont even have to have a reason these ppl will still acct like fools and savage beast just to jock/d ride whoever is hot.

im so old i gave mine to my little cousins years ago, now they're so big they can't wear them.

had a islanders and a jets hand-me-down. So beat up but still got it in the closet :pimp:

Am I allowed to wear one even tho I wasn't around when they first dropped , they look damn cool an I'd like to have a few

Mannnnn I JUST bought a new with tags chicago bears satin one off ebay. If there fit nice, Ill be getting a gold niners and black bulls.

these jackets weren't warm at all

starter made good hats though. i'd buy them

Umm most OG sneaker fans have come to da realization that their prized collection of OG

**** turns to dust with time so bringing older styles back in da best possible quality is appreciated

Around these parts.

Nothing like having them literally fall apart while you're wearing them out :frown:

Keep in mind the old time satin ones were made in the USA with pretty darn good quality. By the time those hooded jackets/windbreaker styles were out I think Starter had stopped making their clothing in the USA, and you can definitely tell it wasn't quite the same.

I'm sure these new ones will be made in some third world sweatshop and will be disappointing with a very high price tag.

I have 3 Starter jackets that I kept because they mean a lot to me. A game-worn San Diego Chargers, a brown Padres, and light blue UCLA. For the most part they collect dust in the closet, but they are awesome jackets worth admiring that I don't plan on parting with.

Being a die hard Chargers fan, of course I hate the Raiders, but my favorite Starter jacket to find in a thrift store is any Raiders version. Raiders Starter Jacket = nice little pay day on ebay.
