Official NT dad thread: can the dads get love

I have a 5 year old boy, a 2 year old girl, and a newborn baby boy - born on January 24th.

Best thing that ever happened to me.

Salute to the real daddys.

Respect to all the good dads on NT.

I won't be a father until I know I can handle it. I'm starting to have that urge though.

My son will be turning 6 on the 6th, time flies. Glad I had a boy cause if I had a girl i'd be such a sucker for her :smh:

He's at the sports age too now :pimp:

Love my lil man, don't understand how a father can be a deadbeat. Hurts my heart. Mothers are quick to get all the praise but there's also mothers out there who ain't "you know what". I've noticed on NT we've got a couple full time dad's here.

Became a full-time father when my seed turned 9. Been in his life the whole time but he moved in with me on that 9th birthday. Me and his mom are crazy cool, no yambs, and it actually has messed up relationships for the both of us as there is no drama but we still mad close. Just certain things don't allow us to be a couple and we recognize that. So we both agreed that at 9 it was time for the cub to run with the lion. I figure the best way to learn how to be a lion, is to see a lion in action daily. He's 14 now and enrolled in a prep school on partial academic scholarship. I'm real proud of this dude in many ways and tell him so. I'm not gonna front, before he was born I was speeding down the highway of life in the fast lane with no brakes.

Just had my little boy February 20th, named him Hudson.  The hospital was on "flu lock down" so nobody under 18 could visit...man, when we brought him home for the first time to meet his older two year old sister was one of the craziest moments of my life.  My life felt complete, tears were shed.

Love being a a young dad, just turned 25 and life is good

I have 2 kids.. 10 year old girl, 7 year old boy.. I do all the parent teacher conference, donuts with dad, and other stuff.. Growing up without a dad makes me try harder to be the best I can..
I'm trying to teach my son not to pull his pants all the way down when he pee's.. I saw him do it at school and asked if the other boys do it, he just shrugged and said he didn't know.. Lol..
