After a long *** day at work, I come home ready to go to sleep, but something about seeing my son smile n hug me gave me instant energy. Its a unexplainable feeling seeing your child happy n watching them grow. I just wanted to shoutout all the dads on nt., its not alot of dudes stepping up doing their job out here. We got a appreciation post for everything else so why not appreciate the fathers? And seeing how the tay thread is growing + team raw, their will be alot more of us soon

why does this need to be said before men can get props.  That phrase isn't really necessary. Why can't you just be a good father without throwing out that negative talk about other men?  I don't get it?  I see just as many terrible mothers as fathers these days.

Don't start a fire.

This is a thread about fathers so it will be either positive or negative conversation about men. A lot of people weren't blessed with a father, and that could be their way of letting a good father know that they are proud of him and respect him.

You have a point, but it should be left as is.

Proud dad here. Had a long day late night with work and picking up my 2yr old sons mother from work. Was hoping to catch him still awake but hes sound asleep at his grandparents house. I love that boy. For the last two days hes been running around the house with his lttle basketball in hand yelling michael Jordaaaannnnn!!! Rawrrrrr!

Jus saying, I personally know alot of dudes who are deadbeats, so just thanking dudes for doing their jobs when nowadays its way not too. And there are terrible mothers but this isn't about mothers

Its not about mothers its about a father that feels like he doing more than the norm.  So if you feel that way props.  Its just a tired phrase that gets used over and over when its not always true.

Thats cool and im sorry u tired of it but where im from most fathers particularly young ones dont do their part. But I can see y u would feel that way but when u there everyday raising your seed u feel a certain way about those kind of dudes. But back to the positivity, shoutout to all the step dads/uncles/brothers anyone who plays a role in a younger persons life
