my little man is one and a half and the hungry caterpillar is one of his favorite books. i must have read that one to him over a hundred times. he likes goodnight moon and the giving tree too. i'll look up some of the others but they might be too text heavy for him to sit through.

Sup stuntman mike stuntman mike ! As our lil man got older & started being able to read, we'd take turns reading pages. He'd read one & the one of us would read the other. We tried doing this every night about 30-40 mins before bed time. It was a nice way to wind down & chill.

that's such a great idea man! it's such a privelege to be a part of a child's development. so funny how easily and drastically my priorities in life have changed. i can be tired as heck after work but if my son wants me to read him a few books, i'm right there to read.

I have such fond memories of sitting up in his bed reading before bedtime. Laughing & stuff & just watching/listening to my son reading. One of the perfect moments in life where everything is right in the world at that moment.
