Official NT dad thread: can the dads get love

Havent spent a lot of time on NT the past few years but i remember sharing a lot about my son around the time he was born and the first couple years of his life. Well he is 6 now and in the first grade and ill be damned if time isnt just flying by. An absolutely amazing experience to watch and enjoy. I have spent almost every day of my sons life waking up with him in the morning and i cant imagine it any other way. Love to see so many other fathers out there stepping up to the plate.

Props to all the father's out there. Blessed mine has been with me all my life. He's been sick the past few years, and I've learned to step up and it's because of him that I know what I'm doing to take care of things for him when he needs the help.

I became a dad on 9/14/10 & it feels like it was just yesterday! Although her mom & i aren't together I couldn't imagine not being in her life knowing that she's here because of me.

Much respect to the dads who hold it down like they're suppose to.

Proud father of a four year old. He's into Toy Story as much as I'm into shoes

Proud father a 3 year old. My son loved that Toy Story stuff until he saw Cars haha. Lil dude runs around making a revving sound like he's a car LOL. But seriously, respect to all the dads out there that keep an active role in their kids lives.

Some good stuff in here.

Not a father yet, but excited/terrified to become on someday.

I was blessed to have my father in my life growing up, who along with my mother instilled the values and beliefs that shaped the man I am today.

Look forward to the day I can pass those down to my own children.

Crazy respect to yall who decided to stick around.

My mom is the one that ran out instead of my pops. I only know like one other black dude who's in the same situation lol.

It really does make the difference. Raised to be strong and intelligent. Don't even think I really needed my mom.

Bump for May NTDADs..... or newly expecting NTDADs

thanks homey! I'm in this boat right here.

My wife is due with a girl (i already have my shotgun on order ...) on the 19th, which also means that it could be any day now.

We're basically just playing the waiting game to see when she wants to come out.

Her room's done, crib is assembled, car seat installed- I can't wait for her to be here already!

She already has 3 pairs of J's.... :smokin

Me and the mother are going through it, near break up it seems. Nothing ugly just not like it used to be.

Can't stress enough that it WONT change the excitement nor the love that I have to meet my daughter in June.

Sometimes things dont work out between mother and father but its always important to let your child know that it doesnt change the amount of love and joy that you have for that child

my son was born on jan 30th of this year. it's been amazing. his mommy just went back to work so i watched him all day for the past 4 weeksdays and dropped him off for his first day in daycare today. got to work and spent almost the whole damn day looking at his pictures and thinking about him. i want so badly for him to be a good person and to live a good life. i love my lil' man so damn much. thank goodness he looks more like his mom and not me

I have to thank the hubby for 13 years of marriage and being an awesome father to our three sons! Our boys are growing up to be respectful and courteous young men! I think hubby is happy that the oldest is interested in j's as much as he is! Haha! Not good for our bank account!
