Official NT dad thread: can the dads get love

it's all about balance.

my kids are allowed specific allotments of time on the tablets, but that comes after working on/playing with/learning a multitude of other things.

a big world out here. I definitely am about exposing them to everything at their disposal.

the biggest thing is my usage in front of them. I deleted my FB almost 2 years ago, and make sure I'm conscious of when/how often I am on my phone in front of them. I definitely had to put it in check, so I can keep their time on the tablets in check.

my son just turned 2.

Had an interesting convo with my elder 2 regarding confidence on the way to school this am ...Also talked about fear of failing while asking about people they admired. Daughter said Ariana grande :x
Their funny lil minds are enjoyable to read

I joined the club just over six weeks ago. I gotta say, my respect for dads, all parents for that matter just continues to grow and grow. Nothing can prepare you for the sleepless nights, crying, and g-d forbid your child gets sick. Despite, the stresses, nothing can compare when your little one looks up at you and smiles. Keep doing your things dad! You are all awesome!!! This has quickly become my favourite thread on NT.

Just announced to my family that me and my wife are expecting. Can't wait to have a little being in my arms once again. Tried explaining to my 3yr old... But just keeps saying "I'm the baby, I'll punch you" smh

I got myself into a pickle:
My mom & sister are going to Georgia for spring break. They found the tickets for $250. I asked the little one if she wanted to go and she said yea. I check the tickets the day after. They go up to $340 and now they don't have tickets for the same flight. Not sure what to do now lol I can't go either because I have school that week. What do you guys suggest?

My three made giant snowballs the other day.
We got about 4 inches of snow overnight from Wednesday to Thursday.
