Official NT dad thread: can the dads get love

I don't have a girl but saw the spelling for a girls name that was just a twist on old name, but the spelling made it look cool :lol: KAMRYN
 
Chose all 5 of my kiddos names and they all share the letter M like they mama and same A middle initial as her too.

Before we knew we were having a boy my wife had a list of names for a girl and I vetoed all the porn star names. 
 
Coolest thing so far is watching him imitate us. My wife and I were laying some floor in the downstairs hallway the day before and didn't finish. I end up catching my son going and getting some floor pieces and tools to help finish up. 

 
Ok fellas... researching child care. Did any of yall go through this?

How is this even affordable man... and then the wait lists are crazy!

Our lil ones will be here in January and we are calling places now. Places are telling us they wont have nothing til next summer or fall smh

being away from family will be a challenge.

:lol: i feel your pain man. my son has been in a day care since he was 3 months and he's currently 2.5 years old and we were paying about 20k/year until my wife got a job at his school and got us a 50% discount. it's been great so far though. he was getting sick about once a month (pretty common in day care) and then after a year or so, his immune system seems to have developed some muscle and now he very rarely gets even a sniffle. my son has great social skills, is a good communicator and is generally a happy kid. the thing that makes it worth it though is the peace of mind that my son is in a good place so that i can work during the day and not feel uneasy. my wife gets pictures and updates from the teachers throughout the day and forwards them to me.
 
Have good communication with these child care facilities. I've done some work with the state/cps and I've seen instances where parents were jerkoffs and staff would take it out on kiddo smh.
Had to check a couple staff at tutor time in AZ for favoritism towards kiddos. Some of them be on that high school ****. But some are awesome as well.

Wow, my baby is arriving in November and we just thought about Child Care. Crap...
 
Haha.  Well she's delivering via C-section so I won't be looking down, sideways or anything past that partition.  I need to be asleep but I am beyond wired.  Hope I can get some pics in here when things settle.
 
man yall lucky now...in 2002 when i had my first kid... we didnt have crazy smart phones, all i had a psp and a portable dvd palyer :lol: ... i might have had my t-mobile mytouch... but im not sure...
