Official NT dad thread: can the dads get love

Well mine doesnt wake up at night never really did. Im blessed. Once hes asleep hes asleep. He is real easy to take care of. But they say babys like this are the worst in the terrible 2's.
This is truth.  My daughter was a perfect eater and sleeper her first year, but her second year (starting around 18 months) was the exact opposite.  We finally got her sleeping through the night again, but she is still the pickiest eater.  We thought her brother was bad, but she's way worse.  My son, on the other hand, was a horrible sleeper until we put him in a bed after his second birthday.  Since then he has been much better.

Mine has to be touching/all over me or her mom to fall asleep, kind of unless when she is already sleep but even then she has to reach a certain level of sleep before you can like pick her up and move her or when she's up, all of a sudden she's up so if you were trying to get something done, cancelled. Like she can take multiple short naps all throughout the day rather than stay asleep too long. Same time, she is somewhat on a schedule so they are able to put her down in a crib at day care, maybe she just acts that way with us. Like even if she's sleep and I try to take my hand off her and slip out the bed she wakes up, it's crazy. Which is why I need to find another car seat/carrier system asap because getting her out of this big *** safety 1st one (it's one of the 4 in 1s that goes from rear facing infant seat all the way up til they're like 110lbs and it's a forward facing booster) requires so much jostling it wakes her up

My boy failed his hearing test for his right ear for the 4th time today smh

Keep ur head up man. Its nothing. You still blessed.

He may hafta rock a hearing peice or get his ear drained or summin but so what? Think of all the truly bad news you couldve recieved instead...
yeah the doctor was saying it could still be fluid in his ear, but it's not completely unresponsive he can hear just not 100% to pass. We have a 2 hour appointment set for next week. Appreciate the words of encouragement [emoji]128175[/emoji]

A friend's daughter had the same thing going on and it turned out to be allergies causing fluid in the ears. A little Zyrtec and Flonase daily and she's hearing perfect now. It's allergy season, so hopefully that's all it is. Sending prayers up for you and your fam!

My daughter had major fluids in her ear when she was 1, they put her in surgery and inserted tubes in both ears..shes fine now.

Worst case scenario is hell be wearing hearing aids...if you have any questions about it pm me fam, Ive been wearing hearing aids since the age of 2

My son got tubes in both ears due to fluid and ear infections. We didn't have hearing tests done before he got his tubes, but he was a different kid afterwards.

My mother took my daughter out shopping.  She asked my mother to try this dress on, talking about "this is the dress I want for my prom."

:smh: Facts. I'm already running up on toddlers eyeing my daughter. Say I won't fade one of these little ******.

Repped for realness

A kid at school broke skin on my daughters arm the other day. I catch him or his pops in the parking lot... Its fonk on sight

Thats why I'm glad i got triplet boys 3 years younger then my daughter.  As they get older, let a dude disrespect my daughter and watch her brothers throw hands.  My sons are 5 and daughter is 8.

My son and godson are 3+4 respectively and they're already with me in the boxing gym on the weekend.

I already got my hitters to protect my little one.

But her jiu jitsu/judo and/or Muay Thai gonna be :smokin anyway

My 14 yr old tells me boys b trying to holler. It's hard cuz you can't be with them 24/7, but your words and encouragement go a long way.
Always tell her to respect herself by not allowing others to remind her of something that she already knows. Also to stay a kid and let adults do adult things. ***** hard but it ain't no thang
