Shes also started to grab the top and try to pull herself up.

the good thing about a December baby is you can claim them for the whole year on taxes

My twins are scheduled for mid Dec too but everybody is saying they'll be early.

#2 came yesterday. My wife said it was a million times easier than our first which I was grateful to hear. She said it actually wasn't that bad and the post-partum cramps are the worst thing about it. Our first had to be suctioned out after 2 HOURS of active pushing every other contraction and a 4th degree tear.

This one only took 20 minutes and maybe 7 sets of pushes until he was out. I was crying like a baby.

If any of you get the chance, I would highly recommend you try to write down a timeline of when everything happened. I did it with both my sons and it's been great to be able to look back to see when everything actually happened and laugh at some of the things that happened.

Our friend is also an amateur photographer who offered to take photos throughout the day. Great memories and ones we'll cherish forever.

It's always the daddies that caught slippin'

There's so many pics of me knocked out.

the best thing about this thread is the real love. nobody trolling. nobody arguing.
love reading this thread first thing in the morning.
This is easily one of my favorite threads.

I'm lowkey jealous of you dudes talking about your experiences with you kids and fatherhood in general.

Welp due date was Sunday 6/12 and still no baby. We have a dr appointment today at 2:30 and going to see what's the next step. Her cervix was still closed Friday but Sunday she said she felt some leaking. Asked her if she felt anything today and she said no. This baby is just chillin in there.

Had an interview today for a county job but man it's a 45 mile drive from the pad luckily against traffic and it's a 9 month probationary period. The pay is better than what I have now just unsure if the distance is worth it. Though, my girl can possibly work less and be with the baby more. Going to have to think this one over if they do decide to hire me.

For those trying to get the baby out on due date time...try talking to the baby as the due date gets closer. Worked for me

My girl and I were about to sleep and as we were laying down I remember having a conversation with my daughter as she was still in the stomach and I lietrally told my daughter, "come out already I want to meet you hold you and play with you"

So my girl says she needs to use the bathroom and as she gets up, BOOM, water broke. We both looked at each other like :wow: and dipped to the hospital! After a good 18 hours my babygirl was born.....*sigh*

Maaaaaaan I think I'm getting babyfever, ESPECIALLY going through with this thread. I'm gonna try to aim for a boy now :smoking

SIDENOTE:

Who here enjoyed the view of the placenta slipping out of the vagina? I sure did not  :x

It wasn't THAT bad

I looked pretty much the whole time, it was a crazy sight. Even before she started pushing, our doctor was like "take a look" and bam, my kid's hair was right there

No scars, rips or anything. 3 weeks later and I was back in

watched my son slide on out and it was pretty amazing. i'm usually pretty squeamish about blood but this was a different type of scenario. didn't have time to think about it.
