Official NT dad thread: can the dads get love

Trump :smh: gotta raise our kids better man...not speaking to anyone individually, but as a whole we gotta do better than what we're dealing with...

Yup..

As a latino man...and a father with a daughter..im scared that this country really elected someone whose enitre platform was based off of hate and ignorance.

Only makes it ok for everyone to think/talk like that..and i dont want my daughter growing up in a country where the most powerful man can talk about and treat women the way he has

Seen a snachat where this lady literally said she'd rather have a racist as a president than a "criminal"
mean.gif

it was a white lady...so racism does not effect her day-to-day life...ignorance is bliss man, we got to do better as parents...

Thought my daughter would see a female president ...I see this country is a long way of ever from that :smh:

i thought that as well.

I thought i was going to be able to turn on the TV and say, 'baby, that can be you someday'.

she does recognize who clinton and trump are, although she's only 3 and doesn't know the significance....

Don't let the President derail what you're doing. He doesn't affect your day-to-day life or your kid's life. As a father, you are the single biggest force that will keep your kids on track. Train them right and you'll change your whole family tree.

Let the Presidency ride. It's only 4-8 years. Your relationship and influence with your kids will affect their whole life and everyone they come into contact with.

My son just got done drinking a bottle of milk and he threw that empty bottle at my face

Definitely been there. My son will just throw everything off the bed.

I'll just finish making it, and he'll kick all the pillows off.

Its definitely real when they turn 2

They're like real life trolls at this age

Cherish every minute. Even when you had 3 hours of sleep in a day, and your straight loosing your mind.... They're only small once.

Most definitely. My son was a headache yesterday. whining and crying all day. I woke up with a headache and it felt like it was the last thing I needed. I couldn't focus at all.

But I wouldn't trade it for anything. I'm going to miss these days when he gets older. When I finally put him to bed I didn't know what to do with myself. All day I was waiting for bedtime, and then bedtime came and I wanted to wake him back up :smh:

Yep! Don't nobody have time for crooked popularity contests. I'm the Mf president and Wifey the VP in my house

For all the dads out there... Now that you've had your 1st, or 2nd, or 3rd child.(or more)
Is a vasectomy in the plans? Just a question ?

I don't plan on it because topic of another always comes up so you never know. I have a friend who had it done and he has no regrets.

Rep's to all the fellas that hit the reply. :pimp:

For me, my third is 16 months old. Were done and I went for the procedure 13 days ago. Of course everyone I asked,( and had it done) ran into that "other topic". Im sure it crosses every womans mind. :rolleyes

I myself just don't want to be that 60 year old first time re-dad. (I've seen it, and that's tough.)

My wife and i have 2, a boy and a girl. We both agreed that two is our number for how we want to live our future out and be able to give the kids some of the things we weren't fortunate to have or experience. We talked about what IF we wanted a third one down the road, and we both kind of concluded that if we wanted another one, we could look into adoption. Also, it's much cheaper with two. Day care is more than my mortgage right now, and one of them isn't even going full time yet.

Done, bruh. Cute Daughter, and Good luck!
Thanks man I appreciate it.

Ideally we'd like to have 3 but financially it'll probably be 2 so I'm hoping the next one is a boy and we'll be done.

I feel ya, bro. I went back to get my Bachelor's when my wife was pregnant with my daughter, and with my twins being born next month, it's gonna motivate me extra hard to start on my Master's this Jan. I'm trying to have 5 by the time I'm done
