Official NT dad thread: can the dads get love

RIP. Having multiple kids means dealing with different personalities. You'll have one in the fridge, one on the toilet then another with half their body out the window. Got a big *** trampoline for them and tell them to jump While I burn a bleezy to mellow out

My guy!

Just copped them a trampoline for Xmas.

I'll be gorilla glue'd up myself g.

That's dope, bro. My girl learned how to grab the remote and give it to me today, couldn't be any happier.

I've been teaching her how to give high fives recently too. Woke up this morning with her and the wife in bed so naturally, I gave her a high five. Then she grabs my wife's hand and gave her a high five too. I could wake up to stuff like that everyday :wow:

starting when my wife was pregnant, we began choosing one ornament for each of us each xmas. my wife is the left row, my son is the middle and i'm on the right. funny to see our collection growing. time is flying.

I was holding my son in church this morning, and he looks me in the eyes, gives me a big kiss on the cheek, and says "daddy you're my best friend."

Xmas ornament collection is the best. That's a great way to do one stuntman mike stuntman mike . Ours is a little different. We started out buying an ornament at our honeymoon. We would pick out one that we both liked. Then we would buy one when we would go on vacation. It was like that until we had kids. Now, the kids make ornaments at school. Those handmade ornaments are the most memorable on the tree.

Honeymoon commin up.

Goin somewhere tropical.

We have 1 kid under 2.

He can fly for free.

We have babysitters for the week we will be gone.

But we want to take him because we dont know when we will be able to go again as a family.

We dont club.

We can get away anytime we want in our city.

We want to relax and chill so time goes slow while we are gone.

But we want to cherish the time with our son.

What do yall think? Fly the kid for free or nah?

I'd take my kid. Hell im going to a wedding in socal and I'm going to bring both my kids

If you've never flown with a kid 2 and under and did the whole gate check with a stroller, you've never hated anything in your life.

Man thats one thing im dreading, the car seat and stroller ****, especially on a taxi.

My kid just hit one and wont be potty trained by the time we fly out, ever dealt wit that while flying and going thru airports?

I just thinj the headache will be worth it.

we took my son to tokyo when he was about 14 months. the bassinet on wall of the plane came in super handy. my wife and i used a tula carrier instead of a stroller and we didn't need a car seat cause we caught the train everywhere. the only problem was he slept on the plane almost the whole time and was wide awake when we landed at about 1030pm. we had a blast and ended up buying him a buncha stuff at the kid's bape store.

we took our daughter to cancun when she was 1 and then to punta cana when she was 4.

punta cana doe :pimp:

Gotta get a new carseat again. Daughter is barely one and this is supposed to be those 4 in 1 all the way til they're 110lbs one but there's no more slack on the shoulders. :x Massive **** took up the whole backseat anyways. Bout to get one of those Diono, I forget which one but it was aliminum and low profile enough you could fit 3 back there if you needed too

When does the awesomeness of having a kid wear off?

Also.... That new J. Cole got me wanting to retire the pullout game.

:\

What kind of car seat do you have now?

Hey can super new to the thread but hopefully I will be in here a lot more soon. I made a thread a couple weeks ago about me becoming a dad next year and I'm pretty excited. Wifey is due in June.

this popped up on the SD front page today. Is it worth the money or could/ should I just get something cheaper?

I think travel systems are definitely worth the money, and there are some nice ones out there too. I think that graco one is worth it. As with any big purchase you'll make for the baby (stroller, car seats, crib, etc), you'll just want to do your research to make sure it fits you and your family's needs.

Congrats on becoming a dad next year!! It will be here before you know it.

Travel system is the best thing we got. So easy to take out the car seat and connect it to the stroller and doing it all without waking up my daughter is great. When I went looking for one I kept having my girl open and close it. She was about 4 or 5 months pregnant, I told her if she could do this pregnant then she could do it with the baby after. I didn't want her struggling when I'm not there. We have a gracco one and it's so easy to do it with one hand.

yeah we had a car seat that came off of the base and fit in the stroller and into a musical rocker thing we had in the house. was always a triumph when we got him from the car and into the rocker without him waking up so we could have a little bit of rest time.

^Thanks for that feedback guys! I've been looking at these for a while and I think I may be convinced on the Graco Travel System.
