I see threads for almost every category so this seemed prevalent enough to have it's own.

So this past summer I went on a cross country trip.  I started in D.C., flew to Los Angeles and drove back to D.C. in a rental car in about 9 days.

The breakdown went something like:

Day 1: LA

Day 2: Vegas

Day 3: Vegas

Day 4: Denver

Day 5: Kansas City

Day 6: St. Louis/Chicago

Day 7: Chicago

Day 8: Chicago

Day 9: Driving back to D.C.

So where have you been, NT?  Post some pics and tell some stories.

Where do you want to go?  I'm sure there's someone here who's been (or lives there) who can get you headed in the right direction.

^^ i heard thats a good time, my school always does an annual trip up there and its pretty dope. Drinking age is 18 too. Ive been wanting to get a group of friends together and head out there.

Mont Tremblant looks straight out of a Christmas novel.  I love winter so that sounds like a trip worth making.
How was Denver?
Denver was cool.  I was only there for about 18 hours but I feel like I got a lot in.  The night I was there was a WWE Monday Night Raw taping so my first stop was Pepsi Center which is a nice facility.  I had a burger at Duffy Cherry Cricket and it was awesome.  A couple of wrestlers from the show were actually at the bar so that was cool.  The next day I drove to Canon City which isn't too far and went whitewater rafting.  It's beyond words.  The rapids were crazy but when it was calm, the scenery was amazing.  Right across the street from the place I went whitewater rafting was a place called Marions on the Rockies.  Best pancakes I've ever had at a restaurant.

The pic doesn't do them justice.  They are massive.

Cool pics.  Voodoo Donuts looks dope.  Especially the M&M one.
Thanks. I flew in the bay area to visit some folks and made my way up by taking 5. Was thinking about taking th PCH but it would've added 3-4 hours and I wasn't too sure about the weather condition at the time. I heard PCH SB is better than going NB

I'll have to remember that.  I was thinking about taking a PCH road trip from Seattle to San Diego on the weekend of Comic Con.

What's your plan for your Chicago trip?
