The Boondocks Season 4 Adult Swim Bump

>D That really wasnt blatant, shiiii, for The Boondocks, it was kinda limp wristed.

Its like they were scared to say his name.

I don't know what ">D" is, but I agree that they went far enough with it to where they should've just called him out by name, especially after already saying Ray J's name.

By blatant, I meant that it was the kind of joke I feel like they'd usually throw a little bit of a fantasy spin on. Them ___s flat out said what actually happened in real life

EDIT: Just realized that it was a smiley.

Seeing the Katrina episode and grandad escort episode back to back really shows how different the writing and overall feel is. The Katrina episode was downright hilarious, and showed you a lot of truths about what happened during that period, while the escort episode was a bit more than slapstick comedy, just some empty stuff. Damn shame what happened to this show.

yall spot on with the limp wristed approach. seems like they are being passive aggressive with controversial or meaningfull topics

They could have said yall **** gonna die but put it on a billboard

they could have said Kanye but didn't

granddad getting money then loosing it every episode is like the guys on cowboy bebop always going after bountys and never getting paid
and in the end they just learn a big lesson

Why have they neutered Huey? There is literally no positive black male character on this show. Actually, there are no positive characters on the show period now. :smh:

Huey & Riley went from being the face of the show to side characters

That's my biggest gripe with this season. The two who made the series are merely noise in the background. Last night's episode was enh. Got the message and loved the shot at Kanye and the Kardashians, but it felt empty.

Does anybody agree that there is too much Uncle Ruckus and not enough Ed Wuncler and Gin Rummy, i mean Ruckus can be funny at times, but i feel they were trying to be

funny with putting to much of Ruckus and that lame music that goes with him.

Does anybody else agree that we need more Huey, Riley, Ed Wuncler, and Gin Rummy. Those guys are too dope

The last episode was atrocious. With the way Ruckus is used, he might as well not even be on the show anymore.

"Every single black man, who has touched a Kardashian ***, something goes wrong. Their brain gets sucked out. There was this one rapper, who went from saying George Bush doesn't care about black people to wearing a leather quilt."

Such profound words from Huey, as we're accustomed to.

First great episode of the season. Microcosm of the entire season in the slavery theme. All races were slaves at the park due to their economic burdens and debt.

Tonight's episode was an improvement from last weak. Not very funny up the story keeping moving forward so it was sort of entertaining.

But man you really see Aaron absence through Huey tonight. Dude was so generic with his insights

Tonight's episode was probably the first of the season that had a real message imo. Felt more like previous seasons. Still think they are overusing the N word
