I doubt they cancelled the season because it's been under production for about 3 years and adult swim and John Witherspoon confirmed it for 20 episodes.

Personally, I got mixed feelings. Do we really want this movie? I know Gary Anthony Williams probably needs work, but...I dunno. Uncle Ruckus is hit or miss with me.
