I literally got so much **** sitting at my desk that im not gonna wear, Im gonna end up letting go of some stuff to cop multiple colorways of these chukkas, these joint are nasty!

but for real at my desk RIGHT NOW i got Air max day 1's, torro 6's, fear 5's, great Brit roshes, concord lows, bred 1's, everything just sitting here... I feel like im never gonna wear them, when i see these Knits, i wanna rock them right now!

these look so nice. with either set of laces

thinking about picking em up, but geeze they're pricey

how do they fit? i've never worn/tried these

i'm an 11.5 in am90s if that helps. thx
I'm not sure how much help I'll be since I go TTS across the board on all my Nike shoes (didn't get the chukka FSB).  Some guys have posted that they go down half a size on these.  I don't feel a huge difference between these or the lunaron sole.

Do people have a strong preference of Luna over Free?
The flyknit upper feels nice, but the sole being light is key.

What's really the difference in feel?

Looks like
I'm laughing at myself right now for actually thinking that this link would direct me to some sort of quickstrike NDC release of brand new colorways of the Lunar Chukkas

the lunar soles you feel more lifted off the ground while the frees are more flat to the ground.

i havent had a pair of frees long enough to do a long term evaluation of both shoes side by side

in terms of weight, they are very similar in weight

You feel the softness and plush cushioning that is provided by Lunarlon foam as soon as you take your first steps in them. It's a lot like memory foam. That said, some people have complained that when standing around in Lunar cushioning for extended periods of time, their feet begin to hurt. This is probably because the foam is compressed and isn't allowed to decompress by virtue of standing around, so the pressure sets in on their feet. Lunarlon was designed with the goal of dissipating the pressure your feet applies over a more even area. I would recommend that you walk around and avoid standing for too long when wearing Lunars to avoid having to focus the pressure your feet apply.

As for Free, they give off a very flexible and barefoot-like feel. The outsole basically moves and contorts along with the movements of your feet. It's very liberating and ideal for those that want to retain the natural motion of their feet as much as possible.

just got my Magistas in today.  i bought a 10 and 10.5, which ill return to the store... 10 fits better than the 10.5.  i wear a 10.5 in OG chukkas.  my recommendation would be to go .5 size down on the new frees.

I finally got my pair of University Red Lunar Flyknit Chukkas from Jersey Gardens and boy do they feel AMAZING! lol. Might be my new favorite shoe. I went a .5 size down and they fit like a glove and even have a tiny bit of room in certain areas. Might try to grab a couple of the other colors if the price is right

In other news... I rocked my flyknit frees with mid-height socks the other day, and it intrigued me.  The silhouette reminds me of a chukka free, but looks better, in my opinion.  Nike should experiment with these, rather than ruin an already-amazing sneaker (lunar chukka).
