It's 2013, What Technologies Should We Have By Now That Don't Exist?

i'd like to think we'd have at least 50 MPG standard on all cars with standard 4 door sedans hitting 100 MPG and above.

Coastal hurricane barriers

Radio telescope on far side of the moon

3-D printed human organs

Portable and cheap self diagnostic kits (for all kinds of illnesses via microfluidics)

Flexible material with solar cells (like T-shirts)

fibre optic cables grid

Alot of stuff isn't a matter of people not being able to do it, but moreso companies being greedy and not wanting to minimize their profits by allowing these things, I.E. the 'technology' that OP posted

Cars that have built in devices that keep them from crashing into each other.

oh and mot importantly some type of ring you can velcro to an iphone to keep it from falling from your hands.

a man can dream...

For THC in particular. Been around since the beginning of time but theres still no surefire way to completely void it from the human body.

Im pretty sure he meant from the good Dr.

Nah, it would be better if it was some type of product you could get without a prescription. It really is ridiculous that people have to go cold turkey on a lot of withdrawals and there is no one shot solution.

Free energy, water powered vehicles, tires that never gets flat and etc. could easily be invented if big companies weren't greedy.

I meant instaneously, ie rid itself from the body in a short time. THC is stored in the fat cells and stays there for 2-5 weeks depending on the person's consumption. Time/excessive fat burning are the only ways to get close to detoxing the body of THC in a short amount of time, but there's no dedicated product that exists to do so (those detox drinks don't work, they mask the THC, they do not get rid of it). Some type of chemical release/fat cell cleansing product would be the answer, but its odd that nothing has been created that can do this.

What I said was in reference to drug testing. 99% of narcotics are released from the system within a period of days, but the least harmful/potentially most beneficial substance stays in the body for weeks at a time.

Maybe dude was talking about the Dr Dre album tho
