I'm just trying to look out for the gear heads that do their own wrenching.

BavAuto videos are a life and money saver when you're out of warranty. I'm a member on E46Fanatics, And Xoutpost now that I have an X5. I buy a lot of parts from fcpeuro.com (cheapest on Lemforde and Myele parts) If I need any OE parts from dealer I got a hook up @ BMW of Bloomfield in jerzy.

Sweet looking ride man. Enjoy!

thanks for the manual will definitely help me out . im looking to do a projector retrofit with HIDS next and some LED angel eyes . theres a video to DIY but i dont know if i can pull something like that off .

Are you doing a dual projector or single? If single I recommend just buying some LED angel eye HID Depos off eBay and selling your OG headlights to recoup purchase. But if you want tackle it yourself, use a heat gun as opposed to baking them in an oven.

yeah i think im going to end up buying a set of depos with led halos and the HID projectors some plug and play ones that wont throw any errors or anything like that . it might be easier for me . im better off working with mechanical stuff rather then wiring .

You still need to purchase the wire relay harness for the remote on Angel Eyes. You need to tap into the accessory wire in the ecu box. I bought mine from umnitza.com. Very easy to do. I have the PDF which shows you where to tap and how to connect it. I will email it to you tomorrow once I'm at work.

yeah i saw that harness will be need . how come so many people on the e46 forum say that the depo headlights suck . do u have them

That's B/S. I had them on my M3 and currently have them on my X5. It all depends on who you buy them from. Seller on ebay is "Fishcake". His lights don't fog up and are canbus error free. Plus he gives you a decent warranty.

i looked up that seller and he has no feedback nor any items for sale . maybe its a diff name . everyone says the lens and the beam of light are terrible on the depo
