They aired it on ESPN. Gave him a few gifts. A sign from Fenway, a painting, a chair from the park and a check. It was nicely done.

This game is UNACCEPTABLE. Andy gives you 6 innings, 1 run, and after 7 you're losing.
Someone awaken the boss from his grave, and spend money like it's 2003.
If you can't hit, you're gone. If you can't play, you're gone. That goes for every person on the team, including Cap.
No more ******** Catching prospects who are a specialist on one side of the ball, and even then what they're good at isn't even that good. No more middle infielders who barely hit their weight without power.
Eat contracts if you have to. If the payroll is $189mil next year, I fully expect a last place finish.

Pay Cano whatever he wants. Pay Granderson his normal salary for a year, then decided from there. Pay Kuroda to stay and be the #5 starter. Overpay Brian McCann.
And if any team are sellers, you jump in and you eat big salaries if the player has some years left. A la Dodgers. Unless it's Carl Crawford

Worst part is Nova & Andy have pitched amazing for 2 months for what they've been called to do this season.
It's all about the bats. I never want to see another season where this team isn't a high power, could go for 10 runs a night team again.

I've been reading Andy is up in the air for next year. I think he'd be good for spot starting if he was coming back give everyone a few starts of rest.
Would be beneficial to CC and Kuroda especially.
I'm holding hope that Kuroda stays 1 more year.
And we go after a quality 2. Or a great 3 that gets moved to 2nd in the rotation
