2013 New York Yankees season thread Vol. (85-77) OFFSEASON

Just saw the highlights of Jeter and Pettite coming out to take Mo off the mound.

My emotions when Mo broke down in Pettite's arm.

Mo is one of a kind, gonna miss seeing him in Pinstripes next year.

haven't posted here in a while.. hard to imagine this season coming to an end. Hope Andy throws a perfect game tonight. :\

“I’m done, guys. I’m done. I gave everything that I have. I think Thursday was the game that I left everything on the field.” - Mo

Would be cool to see him play CF tonight/tomorrow, but I don't even mind if he doesn't. Let him totally end his career having last made an appearance on the field on the mound at YS where he truly belongs.

We can't neglect Andy though.

Knowing he is truly retiring this time around, he will be dearly missed. From a player standpoint he's the man, and it's clear that he's the man off the field as well.

Andy could be the best end of rotation guy on a World Series team next year.

And Mo could be Mo for another decade

This team probably would have taken the division had they not had disastrous injuries and that's what's amazing considering our expectations in March.

I can't wait to end this season to give my take on what to do this offseason. Pretty much would be Exactly the opposite of what the owners will do.

It's so like heartening I guess would be the word...

But it's true like Essential said Mo and Andy could still do their thing. I'm secretly hoping they both come back for a playoff run next year if we are in any position. :nerd:

Will be looking out for this!

And most definitely Andy and Mo can keep going if they wanted to.

It's like the 189 plan but with a much larger amount and almost zero damns given

You cannot make this ending up for Andy.

Complete, 1 run game. His first CG since 2006. Against the Astros, 20 minutes away from his home.

Andy Pettitte :pimp: :pimp: .

And now we patiently hide like scared babies for the day Jeter announces he's hanging it up :wow: .
