The Top 25 Best Black Sitcoms of All Time

Like a lot of people already stated, outside of the top 5, the order was terrible! I've watched every sitcom on this list except for Julia. Anyways, South Central should have gotten mentioned too even if it was short lived...

Now THAT show was short-lived in every sense of the word. All i remember is Larenz Tate and that "controversial" episode.
 
Fresh Prince was a big part of my tv watching during its run, but The Jeffersons should be #2. and Roc is top-5 or 6, IMO.
 
^ Wow they did leave Amen off. That show was good. I actually liked 227. Am I the only one who think Good Times should have been higher. Florida Evans was a hell of a strong black woman in my opinion. I also believe that Martin should be #1.
 
I love Martin and think it may be funnier than those shows that are listed ahead of it but it didn't have nearly the widespread appeal or impact.

I loved watching TGIF show line up when I was younger, Family Matter should have been rated a lil higher in my opionion but the show did get lame when they did the switch with the mother from dark skin to light skin and then ending up on CBS . (Sidenote Full House was LAME and on some other sh*t.

Amen was that show, 227 was wack could never get into. Good Times was a very good show but could never understand why the never got out the projects.

Sorry but folks saying House of Pain should been on the list  hell if that made the list yall should put Thats so Raven, Corey in the House and Famous Jet Jackson on their too.

Hands Down Martin was the best!!!!!   I still watch it to this day on MTV and TV!
