YES! Good gangster movies are a dying breed, hopefully this one doesn't disappoint. For those of you that don't know, Frank Costello, Jack Nicholson's character in The Departed, was loosely based on ****** Bulger.

Have you seen Pain and Gain with the Rock and Marky Mark?

I really enjoyed the movie until I read the true story .

Completely made a mockery out of a tragedy.

Would watch again.

Depp is my guy I just wish he went to more straight laced films in his career him and Downey Jr. excel at those.

I think I heard before when Depp was questioned about his "weird" character choices for films, he commented that he wanted to do more "appropriate" characters so his kids could watch his movies. Clearly that went out the window for this one, or they are old enough now.
 
Anyone seen the movie yet? Promo picked up, it drops tomorrow.

Thinking about catching a screening tonight.
 
It has good reviews on rotten tomatoes. I've been waiting for this for a minute. Especially with how crappy the movies have been the past two weeks.
 
I just watched the ****** Bulger documentary on Netflix. Holy crap, this dude and all the people he was associated with, is crazy. I had no idea.

Looking forward to the movie. Probably will try to watch it sometime this weekend.

Was Public Enemies any good? He looked like a convincing John Dillinger.
 
Saw the movie on Monday at the Toronto premiere with the cast and director in attendance. Way overhyped, solid 6/10, no real climax. Worth watching once but would not watch again.
