Crown Maple wasn't bad...don't think it'd be something i'd get often. Took some shots of it one night before going out and had 3 girls say i smelt like maple syrup

Damn... That's what I have been hearing... Guess ill just stick with the og and black then

can anybody recommend me a new drink/liquor...i usually stick with the same three: Jack/Coke, Jameson/Ginger Ale, Hennessy/OJ, or sip them straight up, but i wanna try something new...i've also had Captain Morgan recently and was pleasantly surprised at the taste...

Do you like or have you tried any vodka or gin? Vodka/gin tonics are solid options. If you can handle the taste of vodka, then a vodka soda with lime can be a nice switch.

Rum and coke... a Cuba Libre (Coke, white rum, lime) is also nice.

If you like to stick with whiskeys, then just try different kinds. Canadien whisky, bourbons, rye whiskey.

My go-to cocktail is an Old Fashioned. I gave it a try because it's Don Draper's drink in Mad Men but it turns out I really do enjoy the drink. Couple of sugar cubes, some angostura bitters, (you can add a little club soda but I don't like to overdo it), bourbon, then garnish with an orange slice. It's nice to have a solid cocktail in your arsenal.

7 and 7s are also my quick mixed drink option. Seagram's 7 and 7up.

Stoli is MAD underrated, my go to. I dont know if it's the way the bottle looks but I cant stand when people try to bash it like its not top shelf Vodka. People acting like it's Popov or Skyy :smh:

It's all good though, there always seems to be a deal on it. Saw Costco has handles for $15 :wow: shh retails for like $35-40

People pay way too much attention to vodka labels and brands. I've read blind taste tests where Smirnoff ends up being the best reviewed and the high end brands are average. I'm pretty confident if people swear by Goose or another brand, they'll have trouble singling it out against Smirnoff in a taste test.... especially when you're mixing it with juices.

Word of advice, don't spend top dollar if you're just going to mix it with juice or soda, you likely can't tell the difference between that and something mid-range. And if it's a higher quality whiskey or other drink, you're missing out on the flavor and reasons for the high price when you add a mixer.

I bet anything I could tell the difference from the 3, maybe not if its a mixed drink but I never have those unless I'm at dinner or not really tryna drink.

And although you may be right about the taste test, the hangover test is evident. Smirnoff, Skyy and Svedka all have me feeling like pure doo doo the next day. I like Goose, but in my opinion Stoli is a lot smoother and better. Rarely have a hangover or have my stomach hurtin' when drinking a decent amount like a Svedka, Skyy or Smirnoff would.

Goose is good, but really overrated and overpriced.

Vodka mixed drinks are my go to when partying and I can tell the difference between the cheap stuff and the better stuff.

I agree Goose is overrated. Did a blind taste with goose, belve, and ketel and ketel won and goose was last.

Regular Ciroc is my favorite though and it is distinct IMO.

Thanks man. I had it about a year and a half before I cracked it open. Very Overrated. The Hen XO was WAY smoother.
I honestly just like the bottle..same with the richards, gorgeous bottle. Other than that privilege will do.

Hennessy VS with or without coke. I've had the VSOP, and I don't know why, but I prefer the VS. I keep a couple fifths in the cabinet.

This man knows something.

Ketel is my go to.
