Nice. I've heard nothing but good things about it. I've been so stuck on Hennessy that I don't even try anything else

But yo, aren't all vodkas(unflavored) the same?
mos def not. you can def tell the difference between something like burnetts or popovs

to something like Stoli, hell even though Goose isnt that good you can still tell the difference between that and some plastic bottle abomination.

http://www.russianlife.com/vodka/custrevrank.cfm thats a good list of vodkas reviewed and what most people think is great stuff like Goose and Ciroc are near the bottom. people just fall for their marketing. there are much better vodkas that are cheaper as well.

This is my go to blended Scotch every time, I highly recommend:

It's something like $15 a fifth with a higher than average proof, but IMO it blows something like Cutty Sark out of the water. Look for it on da bottom shelf.

I seriously hate Disaronno or however it's spelled. It's way too syrupy.

I hate syrupy drinks in general eg alize. I usually mix Disaronno with a whiskey/scotch + ice to water that consistency down and add flavor to other drinks.

I prefer anything dark, except Rum.
i find myself becoming more of a scotch and whiskey drinker. i keep jameson, glenlivet, and single barrel jack stocked for the normal drinking. every once in awhile ill splurge on a high end bottle like a 25 year scotch

anyone ever try johnny walker blue?? ive heard its way overpriced for what it is but id still like to try it

I have a bottle of white hen in the pantry right now, your best best at finding it is having someone bring it back from another country. Mine is from a trip toJamica, but I've had friends buy it on cruises

Haven't seen it in the US besides the occasional overpriced bottle on the bay

some variation of whiskey/whisky for me

Bulleit is one of the better bang for your buck bourbons. Makers Mark is also another affordable daily drinker. Blanton's is my mid range Bourbon of choice. Then there is the holy grail, that Pappy Van Winkle. If I feel like burning money, I will order a pour of the Pappy 20 or 23 yr. Hell even the 15 yr is fantastic. Its been about 3 years almost and I still havent been able to find a bottle.

Jameson or Tullamore Dew (if im feelin somethin a bit lighter). I dont mess with that Bushmills protestant whiskey (kidding)

For Scotch, I have yet to explore that much. Still getting a feel for what I like and dont like. I cant really get down with stuff like Laphroaig. That Islay scotch is just a bit too peaty for me. I drink Johnny Walker, mostly because I'm Korean and thats what was always around the house when I was growing up (my pops is and has always been a scotch whiskey drinker). I always try to keep a couple bottles of the Blue on standby for special occassions. Recently I've been burning through the Costco Kirkland 20 yr single malt. While its not the greatest 20 yr single malt in the world, for the price its pretty solid. I picked up 8 bottles of it back before x-mas and I finally dusted the last one. For shame.

I'm buying myself a bottle as soon as I walk across the stage for graduation.
