Did u pre order it in store at your local Best Buy ?

If so you should be fine and not worry about Best Buy putting a $400 hold on your account or checking your credit card or bank account every once in awhile.

That only happened to people who pre ordered off bestbuy.com

Called my local GS to see if there were more reserves available and there was. Told them I had the OG 60GB and dude told me they'd give me up to $140. Told him it was broken, keeps overheating and won't stay on. The manager said I'd get between $70-$80. That's way more than I expected. A few months ago a mom/pop shop told me something like $14-$25. SMH Glad I waited.

I do feel like I took huge L on the games.

Why would you tell them it's broken if it runs fine initially? They're not gonna test it out for an hour to make sure it's working 100% right

From the moment you turn it on the fan is running high before the system intro is completely. You'll get3 minutes before it sounds like a vacuum and shuts off, lol.. It was hell transferring music to my flash drive.

Sony raises PS4 sales estimates, admits "demand may now outstrip supply"



The overwhelmingly positive response given to PS4 at E3 this week has led to the company raising its sales expectations for the machine.

Global PlayStation boss Andrew House told The Wall Street Journal “the company is shifting its internal projections for the product after favourable reactions to the company's presentation Monday”.

Amazon has apparently seen such a sales spike for the machine that it is no warning customers that it cannot guarantee day one delivery of the machine as it fears launch day stock will be unable to meet demand.

Indeed, House admitted that "demand may well outstrip supply". GameStop executives confirmed similar concerns.















GameStop better not fail me, i am #1 on the pre-order list at my local store. If i have to wait 2 weeks like the ps3, bundle a good movie this time. Talladega Nights

Sony: 'Of Course' PS4 Can Do Cloud Computing


Microsoft has been keen to promote Xbox One's use of the cloud. Xbox One's official website, for example, states that "thanks to the power of the cloud, Xbox One will keep getting better." Cloud computing supposedly makes Xbox One four times more powerful. It also justifies why Xbox One is effectively an always-on console.

But what about Sony's next-gen machine? Sure, it can stream games via the cloud-powered Gaikai. But can it also follow Microsoft's step in offloading computation to the cloud? "Of course," Sony's Shuhei Yoshida said.

"Linking, matchmaking... there are already many computations being done on the cloud side," Yoshida told Polygon. And although PS4 won't require an internet connection to use, Yoshida said that "if your title needs [an] online connection to provide some online features: Go for it."

Y'all mad thirsty on here for PS4. You guys really act like they won't have consoles in y'all city on release date. calm down people, you'll be able to purchase the consoles if not at one store, than the next. They ain't Bred 11's or 88' Threes.

Homie people were getting shot over PS3 at launch lol. No one's buying a Wii U and the vast majority of people prefer PS4 over the one right now. Amazon and alot of Gamestops already can't guarantee a launch system. It'll be very very hard to find one in stores the first couple of months unless you know your stores delivery schedule.

I am doing the same thing. I want to see more games coming to each console i want to get clarification from xbox1 on what the actual deal with DRM is. I would like to find more out about Gaikai. People had ps4 ordered before they even knew the Hard Drive specs. Call me stupid but i am going to take my time when it comes to this. $400 or $500 for me is kind of a big purchase so i would like to be fully educated.

You all only be able to play one at a time though. So gotta play in shifts when it first comes out, but at least after a few people beat /are done with it you'd have full freedom to play whenever.
PS3 release was bad, PS2 release was even worse in getting one.

I expect this to be closer to PS2 unless Microsoft wins over gamers before release.
