You should be able to download the update even if you are not able to log into in PSN.

To manually download the firmware update:

Go to settings

Go to system software Update

From there it should give the option to download the firmware and install it.

If you get any error messages when you try to manually download the update:

Go to settings > network > uncheck "connect to internet" >press circle > go back to network > check "connect to internet" >

go back to System Software update and try to download the firmware again

PS4 Exclusive The Order: 1886 – Average Play Time Between 8 and 10 Hours Estimated by Ready at Dawn

At an event in Milan, CTO Andrea Pessino finally answered in detail the topical question, asked by the audience.
According to Pessino, Ready at Dawn’s internal metrics show that if you play the game at a normal pace and difficulty level, you can finish the game in a window between eight and ten hours. If you play in hard mode or you take your time to seek for every single little detail, you’ll probably clock about twelve hours or more.
Pessino also admitted that yes, if you rush through the game skipping everything you can, you can probably manage the clear in five hours and a half

Right from the horses mouth.

This game caused so much discussions.
Once the Embargo lifts on Thursday for the reviews, it's going to be a bloodbath

If you're on the fence, just wait till it drops in price or don't buy it.

I can understand doubt, but the evidence is right there.
It's not speculation.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Speedrun - 48:51 (Former WR)

Here's evidence you can complete the original Uncharted in less than 50 minutes. Doesn't mean it's the average time for completing the game.

$60 for 2 and half hours of actual gameplay is the issue. Voicing your opinions, and not just buying games blindly, is the only way to change the tide of the gaming climate.

This will definitely hurt them; I expect this game to be a flop now that the fans and the media's assumptions that this is just a playable movie are validated. The Order going to average a 6 or 7 on all gaming blogs and websites.
It's 2.5 hours now?

How much are you expecting it to sell?

Any info on the NT DriveClub crew? I Sent a request :nerd:

YoHsu's going to make me the owner of the club soon so I can manage it. I'll keep you posted.

I played a good amount of Final Fantasy XIV this past weekend. I even managed to do a few dungeons without my brother's help. I suck at tanking

I refuse to believe that The Order can be beaten in 5 hours on a blind play through on normal difficulty. Friday can't come soon enough for me.

Shouldn't you be playing FH2 or something...
right now i'm playing pikmin 3, wind waker, and tropical freeze.
Then i sprinkle in some fh2.

Next on my to play list is kirby rainbow and the order.

Edit: oh yeah. I'm also playing halo 2 and halo 4's mp.

I still need to finish Tropical Freeze and Wind Waker. I really need my own Wii U. My son never wants to share the gamepad

I used the speedrun to show that you can't use one person's playthrough as a standard for everyone. I'm not comparing the two.

There's already times from people who've completed the game on GAF. If that's not enough then reviews come out on Thursday so you can wait for that.

But all this 5 hours - 2 hours of cutscenes = 3 hours of gameplay is stupid.

i've never said TO has X amount of gameplay. I posted it's howlongtobeat page and put an accuracy guide right next to it.

I already posted about how TO had me sold, so what point are you trying to get across to me?

I'll weigh in on this...I know someone who played through it this weekend and it took them 8 hours and 12 minutes with deaths. They said it was an amazing experience and that "This is the game that people who care about graphics have been waiting for. It's exquisite, smooth, fun, and beautiful to look at."

I asked if I should cancel my $80 collectors edition and wait for this to go on sale? The answer was "Yes and no. It's worth playing immediately but the extra stuff is pretty useless." I wanted the collectors edition for the dev diary included but my friend is going to pass that along to me.

I really want to go on a mini rant to talk about how much time and effort it takes for a development team to create a brand new next gen engine and a game at the same time but I don't have the time. So Just remember that this is Ready at Dawn's first foray into making a big console game. I feel like a lot of people on here and in the community are expecting some Naughty Dog level **** when this team is a bunch of rookies on this scale.

The X amount of gameplay wasn't directed at you but I've seen others post it in the interwebs.

Doesn't matter if you're sold on the game. My point for the third time is that one person's gameplay time is not going to be the same for everyone. People were throwing around the time for the video like it will be the same for everyone.

Also I've checked the howlongtobeat site and it doesn't correspond to the pic you posted.

Bloodborne Weapons :wow:

Well said.

These guys jumped from making games for existing franchises on the PSP to making their own engine along with a new IP on PS4. I haven't played the game but sounds like they did very well from the impressions I've read?

What is this ****?!

They better have just forgot to renew it :smh:

I wouldn't even want a name change. I love the current title.

Sony Reaffirms 'The Last Guardian' Is Not Dead

The Last Guardian's trademark in the US has been abandoned, but it appears this was due to an administrative error at PlayStation America, as Sony has confirmed to GameSpot that the project is still in development.

According to documentation on the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the group sent Sony a notice in July last year, informing that the trademark needed to be extended.

Although Sony has, since 2013, habitually extended the game's trademark, it made no action following the most recent request. As such, the trademark was cancelled.

However, amid speculation surrounding what this means for the protracted and troubled project, Sony has told GameSpot that it "can confirm that the Last Guardian is still in development".
