Just platted Type-0. I'd give the game an 8 out of 10.

- Story was kinda meh imo. Im not going to elaborate, don't want to spoil anything.
- Camera is awful but I managed to get use to it. Someone had to have known that it wasn't a good idea :smh:
- I don't think the FULL cast of characters were utilized properly. Again I don't want to spoil anything.

+ Combat was great. Picking up phantomas could have been easier.
+ I like how all 14 characters had different jobs, reminded of FF V. Also I think this is the most amount of playable characters since FF VI (not including FF IV: The After Years)
+ Nostalgia. There were definitely some things in there for old school FF fans.
+ Side content. Expert trials, RTS missions, etc. I enjoyed it all.
+ The darker tone was definitely a nice change. Some of those scenes are brutal.

I'd also say for the people who don't like playing 40+ hour games, give Type-0 a try. I platted the game in about 31 hours. I believe it only took around 25-28 hours to beat it and that was because I was leveling up my characters for a few hours (I played on officer (intermediate) difficulty so there were some tough parts for me).

Tomorrow I take on the demo for the 2016 GOTY -- Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae :smokin

iYen iYen I just deleted Type-0 off the HDD but I remember saying I'd share play with you. If you still want to try it out, let me know and I'll reinstall it tonight before I go to bed.

Nice! You plowed right through it. Im hoping to finish it this weekend, but I am actually enjoying it in 2-3 hour chunks. I can see myself replaying it, which is something I did not want to do half-way through Lightning Returns.

I have to say my favorite players to use right now are King or Machina.

Word.

What the hell else does Konami have other than Metal Gear series these days? Thats probably why we got Ground Zeroes....because they know thats their only franchise and so they probably begged Kojima for something to make a few dollars until MGSV came out.

I just seriously hope they don't own the rights to the Metal Gear universe and bastardize the series by producing lackluster games after Kojima's departure.

Thye have Loveplus and Pro Evo
Still waiting on a Yugioh game for Vita.

There's a game called king of wushu released in China. On ps4. It's a first person moba game. Concept is nice but the visual and game play is poor. Is there going to be more of these games coming?

Speaking of that, PS4 and Vita launches in China today. I'm going to see if i can get some info about the launch and post later on.
And yes there are chinese devs on board and Age of Wushsu is a launch title.

really not for people who already have cable or dish

the most interesting part to me is the "dvr" function, access to unlimited episodes for 28 days

Isn't meant to be an alternative to cut cable. I know other countries won't be seeing it for a while but it looks like they implemented it quite well.

So you can plat it in one sitting that's good.
But like Hybrid said, there's a New Game + with more quests and the real ending.

If it's anything like Crisis Core's NG+ then it should be much quicker than the first playthrough since you keep your stats and equipment.
I also love how it's not 60 hours cuz not everyone has time for that.

I still play the gba yugioh game on the ds. $ony should just make a vita ps4 attachment that plays all vita games.
The vita tv is lackluster.
A vita yugioh would be dope, but I'd much rather it be an indie game.

Yea, Its pretty messy right now, as i just bought the TV on the right and have been having some issues. It's a Vizio 4K 50 inch, but I may have to return it, as the HDMI ports are not working correctly. I researched Vizio and these seemed to have a really great track record, so maybe I just got unlucky.
crazy setup u have. and vizio is solid. u probably did get unlucky, if u can avoid it, avoid buying them from walmarts and sam's clubs. ive had mine for 4 years now without a SINGLE issue. but also, i assume u checked if there were any patches available for those ports.

PSP got a yugioh game recently.
Have no idea what Konami's doing. It works on Vita but chances of localisation are even extra slim cuz of the platform. :smh:

Hopefully the next one is PS4/PSV cross-play and cross-buy

Real excited about battlefront, those used to be awesome on pc back in the day.

To chip in about this tv vs monitor talk. I was using a 27" 1ms samsung for the past few years on the ps3/4; I loved everything about it but felt it wasn't the right size for the space I had it in.

I ended up getting a 55" lg for a steal on boxing day this year.  So far I love it and would recommend to get one with atleast 120hz to limit motion blur and to find one with good colour as some don't display certain colours correctly.

wont catch me playing on a small tv or screen. i understand that for competitive shooters it gives u an advantage to have to less screen to cover while you play... but outside of that, its not even close. with the way graphics are today, you need a big screen to take it in. you're robbing yourself of the experience. its like watching a blockbuster movie for the first time in theaters vs for the first time from a redbox bluray rental. no matter what, ull have a better experience on the big screen.  playing tlou on a big screen put me IN the game. i couldve played the last of us on my comp screen  but lets be serious here....

don't know if this was posted but I'm a little happy to see them coming back :smokin

Anybody have any opinions on The Order 1886 yet? Haven't heard much about it

Takes you 7-8 hours to complete. More QTE than anything. Amazin graphics, horrible story.

That's pretty much what everyone has been saying.
