I told the Gamestop manager about my situation with leaving for Vegas that morning & said I can have my boy pick it up for me.

But I know he's gonna play it like crazy & probably have all of our homies over the whole weekend playing before I can get my hands on it & I feel some type of way about that

But I guess I can't be too mad when I'll be in Vegas

No one should be opening the PS4 YOU paid for. He's doing you a favour, sure, but that's all types of insolent to open your boys new console before he even touches it.

If you gave permission for that, then it's cool, but it doesn't sound like you're okay with it. If he's one of those people who can't do a solid for someone without compensation, then just give him like $10-$20. People should just be able to help friends out if they have the means to, because if they need help down the line, then you'll be all the more happy to.

It's magical. I would feel like a super villain if I robbed someone of that experience with their own system.

It's hard to explain. But it's a great feeling I must've looked at 200 PS3/360 unboxing videos when they came out.

I don't even know how to explain it really. It's just something that stayed with me from childhood. Getting that new PlayStation even if it's been out for a while and opening it for the first time was always special. You feel like the Nintendo 64 kid, but less animated.

I must've looked at 200 PS3/360 unboxing videos when they came out.

I kind of got that feeling when I got my iphone 3gs.

I'll probably have that same feeling when I get a new iphone.

I think it's mainly because I have my phone on my, whereas my console is at home.

So, I don't feel that opening it is as "magical" as unboxing a phone.

But eh, different strokes.

Unboxing any new electronic is really exciting for some reason. Probably goes back to having that experience as kids during holidays. PS3 didn't hit me as hard because I had played it numerous times before and even had a PSN and trophies before copping my own. Unboxing my 360 back on my birthday in 20067 after waiting over two weeks with it chilling in the box was a lovely feeling though.
