Real talk.. I might get Knack as my 3rd game in that target deal.. BF4, 2k, Knack..

Game looks fun.. and I watch my niece and nephew from time to time and they would love that game I already know.. especially the coop

I haven't played a cool snowboarding game since 1080 snowboarding on the n64 and cool boarders...

Or they should call Sega up and bring Shenmue(sp)..

I can name plenty games that are begging for remakes/updates lol. But let's start with the one that we've been begging for the longest.

GIVE US OUR COT DAMNED FF7 REMAKE!

After that, I'd love to see new iterations of:

-Toe Jam and Earl

-Shenmue

-Legend of Dragoon

-Zombies Ate My Neighbors

-Gauntlet

For a new IP I would love to see a Kung Fu flick style 3rd person game that's completely over the top like the movies but with as intense a fighting scheme as any of the new Batman games. Think IP Man in a game like Batman x Dynasty Warriors lol. That's a game I'd love to play. I hope this gen of consoles leaves the shooters behind. I'm ready to go back to action, adventure and rpg's.

honestly to me it looks like a game that coulda just been made for the ps3
but they needed more 1st party launch games for the ps4 so the moved development to the ps4

it looks like knack was designed as a tech demo to show all the millions of moving parts the new console could handle. But then somewhere someone went, hey we can make a game out of this.

 I'm sure it wouldnt run smoothly on a PS3.

I don't know, never played it. From the youtube it looks like trash lol. But think about it, a brand new IP. A brand new character. The free flow of Batman's combat versus the overwhelming numbers of Dynasty Warriors. It would be glorious! Especially if they made it hard so you actually had to master the moves not just pound away.

As for Knack it definitely looks like it could be fun. Just not $60 fun. It's as if they needed to cover their bases with a new platformer so they made this. It just lacks that certain charm most great platformers have. I could be wrong, if so I'll gladly cop when its on sale.

I mean the answer to that is kind of obvious but if you need it broken down for you... it's multiplayer.

I don't mind spending $60 on a game without multiplayer. But for that to happen the game has to wow me. I have to be interested in the storyline, the gameplay, the graphics, everything. For a game with multiplayer I don't have to be wowed. All I need to know is that I will enjoy playing the multiplayer for at least a few months.

I don't know why you're getting upset. Of the games you mentioned I only play CoD, and I don't play them yearly. So there's that. But as to the point you're trying to make, yes, if I or anyone else enjoys the same game every year (which are hardly the same game, but I digress) and get continued joy from that game, why shouldn't we spend 60 on it? No one is checking for multiplayer on Knack. We're checking for top tier platform play. And so far, most of us don't really see it. It doesn't have to be GOTY but it has to justify it's price. Most platformers aren't even long games. I could beat it in a weekend. So why not Redbox/Gamefly it instead of dropping 60? Does it look like a must have for the collection that I'd want to keep in my home? Hardly.

But like I said, maybe we're wrong. Maybe it will get top reviews and be worth the 60. Me personally, I'm going to wait and see before I even consider copping.
