Its been a rough week, My wifes cousin killed his daughter (who we were trying to get custody of) so that one stings a lot. I found out last Friday that I was being promoted and flown out to Dallas Tx (where I am now) for training until Friday of this week. But it got worse last saturday when my childhood friend Jevon Walker was killed after trying to sell his phone on craigslist by some damn teenagers. That just kills me. He leaves behind a wife and a 4 year old son. So yea this week has been crazy. I'm in Dallas now for the week studying my brains out so I haven't been able to post really, but you guys best believe I've been peaking at this post as much as I can. My wife is picking up my PS4 Friday (i'll fly out back to Atlanta Friday at 5pm but I have a damn layover so I won't get in until 11:00pm). Jevon's funeral is Sat at 11am and then I have to head to work after that so I won't officially get my hands on the system until Sunday.

But I will be peeping this thread and looking for pics and impressions!!

Very sad to hear, my thoughts are with you my dude. Two deaths in one week and a new job? Focus on you and yours my dude and stay up. I'm sorry for your loss and hope that gaming will help be a stress outlet to help you get through. PM is always open if you need anything.

just scored battle field 4, killzone SF, and need for speed rivals at my local target all for $87 bucks!! now i call that a great day! that 30% coupon works great... might go back tomorrow and get  asn creed, call of duty, and nba 2k14 if i can pull out another coupon.

btw i had to show the manager the memo that was going around showing that they could sell killzone and need for speed.. at first the people at the games section said they couldn't sell them cause the ad said so, i showed them the memo they still looked clueless.. they called the store manager and he looked at it and told me at first that he couldn't break street date and that they would get fine. he said i was the 5th person that came in with that memo and he said its probably a fraud someone was committing. i insisted that other targets where doing it and he said he wouldn't and his store is held to a higher standard. at that point it looked pretty grim that i wasn't going to get anything.. he was a cool manager and he said he would go to the back and if he could find the memo he would sell them to me.. i agreed. about 5 min passed he came back and i saw he had the same memo i did and instructed the sales staff there to go in the back and pull out all the ps4 games the memo stated they could sell and put them on the sales floor. then he came to me and told me your right ill sell u the games.. at that point i was pretty stoked and after about 10 min *had to go find them in the back* he came out with a bunch of games. 

was also able to use the 30% off coupon with no problems. he actually scanned the coupon and it worked no fuss no problems ontop of the 5% off as well for using my red card debit.. good day it is!

Also with madden, I don't know if it's just me but when the season ends
in February, I lose all interest in the game.

I picked it up but I'm not overly excited for it. Got it just because I haven't brought Madden in a while. Dude who got his PS4 early said Madden made him turn off his PS4 in disgust. Said the ONLY difference is the grass.... every other thing is the same

I play madden year round too, been in a legit sim league for a few years now

Just joined one this year. Won the super bowl my second season. The league is the only reason I haven't gotten rid of my ps3.

Condolances to Jetpac, terrible situations.

I'm done with PS3 as a whole so I dropped all my Madden leagues. Got 2 lined up for 4 though, usually I do 3 tops. It really is one of the main reasons I buy consoles, an active league can make the game really fun with trading, stats, playoffs, all that good stuff. Definitely look into it if you're a football fan. Winning the Super Bowl with your team (who in my case has no chance in hell to win one in real life), is a great feeling
