Spoke to Amazon Customer Service this morning and they assured me they won't charge your credit card until the unit ships from them. They changed the name of the the console to the "Launch Edition" so there is speculation that there might be an extra controller or PS Eye included. Not sure about if they are doing that, but they did start calling it the Launch Edition a few hours ago.

same. i figured i'll end up wanting it as launch comes closer and i'm not trying to deal with crazy lines on the usual short supply come holiday season. i figure worst case scenario I'll just flip it if I decide I don't want it.

CONCEIVABLY, I am all for. Turns the wait from game to game from 5-6 years to 2-3.
However, SE really needs to get the house in order and have dedicated teams. These producers going back and forth while games remain unfinished only causes all products to suffer.
Also, if they take fan feedback seriously, we might see some really great sequels.
XIII-2 was better than XIII, and it really didnt change much other than the story and the way you progressed.

Like the Xbone they were having a day one system I guess that's supposed to come with little extra stuff I guess..
