The free PS Plus games pushes PSN over the top imo. Consistently great games are given out that have been released in the past two years. Uncharted 3, LBP2, Far Cry 2, Infamous 2, Meganman 9/10, Demons Souls, Battlefield 3, Saints Row 3. You can just buy a PS Plus subscription and be good. Plus Driveclub coming for free at launch.

MS can do much better than AC2 and Gears 1

Time to re-up on PS+ to grab Borderlands . Not really into racers, but I'll probably get GRID 2 as well just off the strength of it being free.

Has anyone else had a problem getting into multiplayer matches on Battlefield. It just keeps going to the black loading screen and stays there for what seems like forever. It did this tuesday and is doing it now

I applaud MS for offering free games with their service, but come on... it's insulting to their customers. Gears is a very very good game (it apparently invented 3rd person shooting if you check the X1 thread... ) but if you have a 360 and havent played it by now, are you really going to if it's free? It's 7 years old.... What's the benefit to the developer? At least with newer games you potentially push DLC.

Keep playing it. I felt the same way. But as soon as I got the hang of it it's been the only game I'm playing. Have to find the right class for you.
