- I like Warzone mode, which if you haven't played, is a best of 5 consisting of CTF, S&D (1 round attack 1 round defend), capture & hold, and TDM. I wish more games would adopt it.
-The maps are way better. SF's got the best collection of maps I've played in a long while.
-I like the more methodical gameplay in KZ. The run>shoot >die in Ghosts just doesn't cut it, especially with the horrible spawn points.
- I prefer the special abilities for the soldier classes in KZ over the perks and kill-streaks in Ghosts. With the map layout and spawn points in Ghost, I'm not coming close to the 2nd and 3rd kill-streaks without serious camping.
-All DLC maps in KZ will be free. That's a huge bonus.
Having said that, I expect a bunch of "meh" impressions this weekend from those checking it out, and I don't know why.

It's crazy I was so stoked for the PS4 to drop, I hardly even play it
I like the system just wish there were games available. 2K IMO is meh. I don't like how they did the menus and they got rid of Association, MyCrew, and MyPlayer is almost an RPG
Luckily I still have a HUGE backlog of PS3 games to hold me over until something interesting drops, currently playing Ni No Kuni..

And it isnt pick up and play. You have to learn how each player type plays.

This would've been my EXACT case, and the last thing I need right now is to spend $400 on something that would gather dust until March (hopefully), so I decided to work through my backlog (also huge

Ni No Kuni starts out pretty slow, but what RPG doesn't. Got a few free DLC familiars and game has been cake since. But w/o 'em, i can see it being pretty difficult. Still never finished it, beat Shadar, but never got around to the White Witch.

I played it on PC because some friends already had it. It can be a demanding game if you turn the graphics and draw distance all the way up because of the size of the worlds, but it runs on most systems easily.
I had a little fun with it, but I kind of did everything and got bored of it. It's definitely more fun with friends. I built a 2 story house with a basement. I had a good diamond mine setup. I found a good way to make obsidian. I lucked out and there was an NPC village near where I chose to stay. My basement had all my ovens for smelting, enchantment room, materials storage. I found a white wolf and made it my pet.
Once you've built your fortress and you no longer have to worry about it breaking from the monster mobs at night because you've created enough light and put enough fences around. You can go to the Nether and find different mobs and materials, but it gets kind of stale. If you're really creative and like the building and creation aspect, then you might get more life out of the game.

This, bought COD, BF4, KZ, 2K, and Black Flag on launch, ended up selling them all in less than a month. Launch titles were piss poor... I'm waiting for Infamous at this point.
Just listed my ps4 on Craigslist... I won't touch it for 3 and a half months, anyway.

Dude all of those games are dope except 2K. I have those shooters for last gen and the difference is really significant. I think you are just trying to justify the sale of your games. Piss poor is extremely inaccurate.

Starts a lil slow like most RPGs. I'm about 15 hours in (spent about 3 hours grinding) and I'm getting more interested. It can be difficult like someone stated earlier, I haven't used the DLC familiars (wasn't aware there were any) so I spent some time grinding. Overall it's a good game, just gotta have some patience.

QFTYou guys do realize that in BF4 you can switch teams to the same as the person you want to play with if there is an open slot, right? Is it a pain....sure?
For what is is worth, the main 2 guys I normally run with on BF, we have never had issues all being on the same team and in the same squad together. Sure it would be nice to get in an initial pre-game lobby like CoD and just join a server together, but it isn't an impossible feat like some of you make it either

yea I agree. Piss poor is somewhat harsh. Killzone mp just wasn't fun to me. I already had ghosts on ps3 and AC 4 is cool but I hate being at sea (I hate the whole naval aspect of the game). I wasn't really expecting a lot from the launch titles, I just wanted to have ps4 day 1 so in wouldn't have to worry about getting 1 later down the line. Putting a system on CL after a month is kind of dumb if you ask me, just wasted money

I sold my first PS4 for 730 though, and listing this used one for 450. Got 3 of those games for free, didn't really drop a penny... But that's neither here nor there. I'm a Sony fan, but the launch titles were awful. Contrast was prolly my fav game out of the bunch.
