Playstation Now Won’t Give you Access to a Digital Copy of Games you Own on Disc[/SIZE=5]

Playstation Now was unveiled to the world yesterday as the Gaikai powered streaming service that will bring PSOne, PS2, and PS3 games to the PS4.

In an interview with CVG, John Koller explained that users who already own copies of their games in a physical form on PS3 or older platforms will not be able to get a digital copy of their game for free. At least not yet they won’t.

When asked if owners will simply have to put a PS3 disc into the PS4, Koller said, “We… uh, initially, no. So, we’re saying no to that right now.” CVG went a step further and asked if this was even a feature Sony was looking into. Koller responded with a resounding “no”.

It’ll be interesting to see if Sony offers some sort of discount for games you already own or if there’s just a one time subscription fee to access the games in the library like OnLive did with it’s Playpack.

downloaded to see what was up with the game.. I love the graphics..

first time I died day 1..
second time I died day 1.. but ventured the whole island. saw the spiders and stuff..

third time I died day 3 after the rain took my fire out..
food - just pick up carrots, berries, blue mushrooms and then attack bees for honey, rabbits for morsel(sp) and the turkey for a drumstick
weapons - got the ax
misc- everything that I can pick up.. I do..

definitely will go back to it later and figure out how to cover my fire and how to replenish my health.
 
This thing, like the XBox One, is just an expensive paperweight so far.

Killzone has been disappointing so far. Maybe I just need to get past that part, but so far it pales in comparison to 2 and 3.

FYI, Watch Dogs is no longer on Gamestop's release calendar for 2014 and with the Division likely being pushed back to 2015, this has been a really bad couple of months for UbiSoft.
 
I wish I had Sega Channel growing up. Mom shot that down quick! :lol:

The idea behind it was really cool though. Deinitely ahead of it's time just like the Dreamcast.
 
Decided Im gonna give Skyrim a chance. BB has some deals going on, I was able to cop Legendary Edition (all DLC included) for $30. Never been able to finish any western RPG, so we'll see what happens

Yeah one of the many reasons I stay buying from them. Was going to return NBA2K14 since I already got the code and use the servers are always down excuse.

Their customer service is the best

NCTwin: Nope they didnt even ask for pictures. I told them i could provide pics but he didnt even mention it. Just gave me a $60 credit towards a new one

An extra controller you bought from them or the one that came with the ps4? Mines is coming off too :nerd:
 
Also got a free replacement controller from amazon. Going to take the other one apart and paint it this weekend. If it turns out well, I'll just pick up some of these and call it a day
