The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Yea I thought you just got it. Read it wrong; didnt realize you had to wait for your actually birth date... :smh:

How you feeling about these GT concepts? They are rolling out so slowly.... waiting on the Nike and JB ones. Love both Mercedes, though.

I like the whole idea of it.  Good bit of promo for the manufacturers... and it gives their design teams a chance to "materialize" their concepts on a bigger-scale, even if it's still virtual.  I wonder if Tinker will play a role in it...

Gonna try the race-spec version of the Mercedes later.  The 1st one was kinda understeery... haha.

It was discussed and shot down for this year. I was on a call the other day where it was talked about that X/X-2 outsold Lightning Returns and 13-3 first week in Japan

Sorry I've been MIA from this thread for a long time. I haven't been at work for over a month because of vacation and then recovering from surgery. Didn't even get to go to CES. :smh:

I Should be going back to work this Monday provided my doctor gives me the all clear today.

Wow I'm amazed. FFX is a beloved installment in the series.

For those that wanted a better launch lineup, the only two solutions would be to release the console a year later, or to rush out games that will end up sucking or being half finished. We could have Infamous, MGS, Watchdogs, Destiny, and whatever other as launch titles, if they decided to release a year later. But who really wants that as a consumer? Obviously it would make no sense for Sony, no reason to play catchup again.

Majority of people got the game they would of got on ps3 anyways, fifa cod bf ac, if there had been no new consoles. Killzone and Knack at least were full games, Resogun was a pleasant surprise. I know its a console launch that doesn't happen that often, but launch titles aren't that serious, unless you only want the console for 3 months.

Nah chill. The launch titles collectively were garbage. Only bright spots were the FPS's & NBA 2K14.

+

I will be purchasing FFX/X-2 HD, FFXV, FFXIV:RR, FFLR. Now I can trade in my old collectors edition for the new Realm Reborn for PS4 correct? I hope my PS3 RR account hasn't been hacked yet. I never figured out how to use the one time security code.

I keep pushing back buying a PS4 because my PS3 keeps pulling me further and further in. I haven't played video games in a week or two, but I can't stop thinking about how much I want to dig into Bioshock Infinite, Ni No Kuni, God of War III, Borderlands II, finish Kingdom Hearts 1.5, Uncharted III, and inFamous 2, and that's really just the top of the to-do list. Hopefully I burn through my backlog and finally make the leap before summer. :smh:

Hell, I still haven't even gotten around to buying The Last of Us yet.

Sony weren't playing about when they said the PS3 has a 10 year lifespan.
Still got Persona 5 and the new Tales game coming.

probably trolling that definitive edition thread

Think I did pretty good for my first bf
Not bad at all but that game is easy. Especially compared to Ghosts. Not to be that guy

Velle, you say did good for your first BF, but you're ranked 22.  I'm not sure what you meant by first BF.  Lurkin, COD is a lot easier to play than BF, a lot easier.

Yea. I grabbed the Tron-inspired color. Its a bit tricky in corners and breaking at high speed. Likes to get squirrely.

As far as staying alive it isn't. Judging from going off of his screenshot he is basing his success off of his K/D ratio.

Meaning my first battlefield I've ever played not that particular match.Like my transitional phase from cod to fb came rather quickly. And to the dude who said bf is easier than cod you're very funny homeboy

I was on Live with Playstation browsing channels... Scrolled down to the interactive channels and Tomb Raider is capable of an interactive stream.  How does this work exactly?

I know its where other can jump in the game and do certain parts for you, but walk me though it.

Honestly, when it comes to the ps4, I rather get the physical copy instead of downloading it. It takes too long to download some of those big file size games.
